According the Sony, over 1 Million copies of the Gran Turismo 5 Time Trial demo has been downloaded. That is only numbers counting in 15 European countries, Australia, and New Zealand. They haven't released any data on the number of download in the US, or Asian market.

If this is any representation of how the final game is going to be for release, then i think they are going to be in great shape!
