Kennel Hedera´s | Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers since 1992

In 1990 I got my first toller from Denmark, Bright Flowers Betula Rosea (Bella). Bella was such an excellent bitch with a wonderful character and health, that we decided to make her the foundation bitch for Kennel Hedera´s. Her first litter has been born on 2.1.1992. In 1993 Alison Strang chose Bella to be BOB at the tollershow in Finland. Nowadays Bellas genes can be found in all Hedera´s lines.

Ever since then I have been breeding tollers.

My goal is to breed healthy dogs with excellent character and exterior, a strong will to please and good working abilities.

The statistics over the years show, that 81 % of all my dogs have healthy hips.

Our family lives in a small town called Somero, in southern Finland.

Our puppies grow up in the house with close contact to the family. We socialise our puppies a lot, get them used to children from birth on, introduce them to other dogs and different people.

We get them used to all kinds of noices inside the household and outside and introduce them to game animals from the very beginning.
