KENDALL JAMES BAND TO PLAY ABERTILLERY BLUES FESTIVAL 2009
The very best of blues from home and abroad,
the Abertillery Blues Festival 2009 takes place in the wonderful
setting of Abertillery Park on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 July.
Legendary guitarist Andy Fairweather Low, one of the UK’s most eclectic and charismatic musicians is heading up this year’s festival along with his band The Low Riders.
The array of British and international talent set to take to the stage includes:
Alvin Youngblood Hart’s Muscle Theory (Headliner for the Friday night)
The Oli Brown Band
Jay Tamkin Band
Earl Thomas & Paddy Milner & The Big Sounds
Lightnin’ Willie & The Poorboys
Derrin Nauendorf
Lisa Mills Band
All are thrilled to be taking part this year in particular Kendall James band. After seeing Ian Siegal at the 2006 Festival the band inspired to form the group and go back to the basics of the blues. Now a couple of years on they are playing the Saturday night of ‘their’ festival.
