Lets, for the sake of Argument, say that you Right now are currently how your Therian Type looks,
Do you know your categories?
What would you be?
Here I will attempt to put TherianTypes in to Categories to make it easier to assess them, Hope this makes sense to you. If you know of anything that I have not yet added, please let me know.
Although Therians fit into the Category of Otherkin (Kin different to Human and Animal)
Therianthropy is a vast part of Otherkin, which both deserves and maintains a sub category all of its own, it is the title for Humans that have some kind of connection to Earth Animals, (animals that exist/have existed on earth.)
Otherkin hence becomes the title for anything not present on earth. Animals considered Mythical, such as dragons, vampires, mer-people. Etc.
Sometimes it is a hazy line, between what can be considered Therian, and what is Otherkin. Depending how your true Form looks, determines to a certain degree What you Are.
Single Form Types (Standard), This applies to those who are permanently in one form, animal/human etc.
Double Form Types (Specific Shapeshifting), applying to those who can only switch between their human and animal form.
Multiple Form Types (Multiple Shapeshifting), applying to those who are able to shift into many different forms as well as the standard human/animal.
These are the Main catergories of Therianthrope, Any Type can fall under one of these categories.
See below for the Types.
They come in Many different Types. Here are a few of the well known ones.
These are the MAIN FORMS our Animal takes, or has taken in a 'reincarnated past'.
(This means, what your standard form is if you aren't shapeshifting etc.)
