Therianthropy and Otherkin.
Animal and Man, a term used for the existence of both animal and human traits within a person.
For example, a human may carry what he or she believes to be an animal soul, or perhaps just harbour the Characteristics of said animal, or multiple animals. Other examples of this can be Otherkin. Humans with the souls of beings believed to be Mythical, such as Dragons, Avatars, Vampires and Gryphons.
Some believe that when an animal dies, the soul can be passed into a human before it is born, or that soul can be merged with a human soul before entering into another body. Therians who are experiencing no memory of their former life as an Animal, (not a Therianthrope) probably will never find those memories. Because animals, unlike humans, do not need those memories, nor do they have the advanced capacity or self awareness to record all of them the way man does. An animals life is basic, instinctual, simple and innocent. It is like the starting point in creation from which both man and Therian have come.
However, people with a Therian Name and 'Memories' were most likely merged long before this life, and have possibly lived before as actual Therianthropes, not just as animals.
Therianthropy is just a small part of this vast, relatively unknown, family of Otherkin (kin different to standard animal, and standard man) and there is so much we have yet to learn about ourselves; as regards to where Therianthropes originated from as a whole and as individuals, and their purpose for being. If, what my Therian friends and I believe is true, then as both humans and animals we have a greater part to play in this life, and every other, than we could have thought possible.

Kemet.
Kemet is the name of Egypt, in Egyptian. It can translate to mean, 'the black land' it is currently the name of a faith focused on following some of the old ways of the Ancient Egyptian Culture. I admit to knowing little about it, because I don't often delve into commerical faiths too much. However, I respect those people for reminding us that, faith is in the heart, and the we should take religion and spiritualism back to a time when it actually meant something, not following orders and obeying corrupted religious leaders.
Whether we believe the words, the images, the past views or the present. No one is truly wrong in faith, only sometimes mislead, or influenced by bad opinion.
We're all here to learn. Lets make the most of it.
From the way we deal with the problems in our lives, to the types of characteristics, beliefs, opinions, strengths, weaknesses and personal abilities we harbor. All of these things can be affected by the species of animal that is a major part of the Therian person. I dont believe Therians necessarily posess the same qualities, or stereotypes as each other. Depending on 'where' they come from, determines their nature as much as differences in cultures worldwide, determine a humans own.
From canines and felines (being, as i've found, the most common) to reptiles, birds, other mammals and aquatics, maybe even insects? Though, I can't claim to have met any insects atleast.
Therianthropes like myself, and my good friend Nizhoni, have pasts that we are aware of, partially if not fully.
And here we enter into another classification of Therian, Shapeshifters.
Although not possible in this lifetime, Shapeshifting was, for some Therianthropes, something possible during the time of their Prime Lives.
Though not all Therianthropes had the ability to Shapeshift, and some either do not recall their Prime Lives, or have yet to experience them.
Prime Life is a term I have created myself, to explain the 'memories' of our Therian selves, and the lives we believe we lived before entering into this place, and becoming human. It is the life in which a Therianthrope is truly himself both physically and mentally.
Prime Life Therians have lived other lives before this current one, and may have had families or homes in other places. Who knows, perhaps even other worlds. After all, there must be more out there beyond our solar system. Perhaps a place where we, as individuals, belong.
I hope, with the aid of this site to help others like myself discover more about what they are, and give them the opportunity to meet others like themselves.
There are basically two strains of Therianthrope on earth. (Not including Otherkin, who may vary.)
Recent ~ Animals that have died, whos souls have passed directly into the human body they inhabit today.
Developed ~ Therians who lived before as Therianthropes, have died, and now passed into the human body they inhabit today.
(Basically, whether a Therian human is new, or much older and experienced.)
There is no way of telling whether a Therian is Recent or Developed unless he/she is aware of that themselves.
Animal headed Therians, full bodied Therians, Daemons, Shapeshifters, Guides and Spirits, etc, all of them may be developed or not, depending on how long the individual has existed as a merged being.
For those who have lived before as an animal, they may never remember the past life, due to the simplicity that is the ordinary animal existence. This is discounting all Therians who simply lived their lives in pure animal form, because they were not standard animals.
For those who lived before as their actual Therianthropic selves, (who are human now on the outside) they may, and probably will, at some point recall their past life/lives, due to the fact that they were more advanced than standard animals during said lives, more is expected of a Therian in the order of the Universe, or else, we wouldn't be alive.
Of course, this kind of information is rather useless to todays Therians, because all we truly have now are the soul imprints, the feelings and the memories of whatever existed before us, and all we can do is try to express what is long gone, amongst others who understand the journeys we have taken, and have yet to take.
