About the kittens...
4/28/09--I have no more kittens available at this time. My next litter might be late summer/early fall. Next year I am hoping to have kittens out of my new chocolate point as well.
Where Am I?
I am located 10 miles North of Larned, Kansas. That's about an hour and half West of Hutchinson; an hour and a half Southwest of Salina; two and half hours Northwest of Wichita; 4 hours Southwest of Kansas City; or 50 minutes South of Hays.

You are more than welcome to come visit the kittens in my home. However, sometimes it is possible for me to bring a kitten to Wichita and I can definitely bring a kitten as far as Great Bend.
Information for Interested Buyers...
I do live too far away from an airport to make shipping kittens feasible. If you live too far away to pick up a kitten at my home or at Wichita, try searching for kittens locally. Another option is to search for registered breeders, as they many times will ship kittens.
If you decide that you do want a kitten, it would probably be a good idea to put down a deposit. I start accepting deposits once kittens are about 1 month old. I get many calls from people interested in kittens. **I cannot hold or reserve kittens without a deposit! It is first come, first serve, until I have received your deposit.** If you tell me your deposit is in the mail, I give the courtesy of about 3 days for it to arrive.
If you tell me that you want a kitten and are sending a deposit but then later change your mind, no problem. Things change. Better to decide now than later! Just do me the courtesy of letting me know so that I can let the next person in line know that a kitten is available.
I get so many inquiries about kittens that now I have a "waiting list". If you would like to be on the list to be the first to know about new kittens, email me. If you find a kitten elsewhere in the interim, great! But please let me know so that I can take you off the list and make the next person in line very happy.
Something else to think about is getting two kittens instead of just one. There are so many people that I hear from who want a second kitten once they have the first. Two kittens keep each other company if you are away from your home all day. Two kittens are also lots of fun to watch. Two kittens don't require much more than one kitten does--except more food and more litter box cleanings, for example. If you have the space and can afford it, it's worth a thought.
About Me...
My husband and I have 5 children: aged 9, 7, 5, 3, 2 and 2 months. We live on a farm and my husband raises wheat, alfalfa, milo, and beef cattle. (That's our barn in the header photo above.)
I have always loved cats and now that I live on a farm I can indulge my love for cats. Along the way we got a siamese cat and she had kittens. My kids and I love kittens! And we love the looks of the siamese cats as well as their sometimes quirky personalities. We learned that we were better able to find good homes for our kittens if they were siamese. Our cats are our friends, companions, and pets. My cats have never been caged. I do not show my cats and *my kittens are not registered*. I would have to charge 3 times as much or more if they were registered. We raise siamese kittens so that the kids and I can have kittens to play with and still find good homes for them when they are old enough. I also raise Siamese kittens because I think that the breed is beautiful and has a great personality. If no one bred them, the breed would go extinct. I may be a "backyard breeder" as registered breeders call it, but I do NOT run a kitten mill! I take care of my cats and kittens and do not have so many that I can't give personal attention to each one. My cats eat nutritious food, get excellent veterinary care, and live in clean surroundings. My kitten nursery may not be as fancy as some (wouldn't I love to have a nursery like that!) but it is clean and the kittens have plenty to do and spend plenty of time with people. You are welcome to visit and meet me and see for yourself that my kittens are well loved, taken care of, and socialized.
