Welcome to purplecrayonplayers.com! Purple Crayon Players produces professionally written plays for young audiences to bring quality childrens theatre to the Northwestern University campus as well as to schools in the Evanston, IL community.

Borders in Evanston has a long tradition of story telling and activities for children, and is excited to be teaming up with the Purple Crayon Players, winner of Northwestern University's "Best New Student Organization" in 2006. The Purple Crayon Players are thrilled to bring their talent to Borders storytime. They are all NU theatre students who are inspired by the power of children's theatre to teach and affect young audiences. They strive to produce quality theatre for young audiences in the Chicago and Evanston areas, while also introducing this genre to the Northwestern University community.
