Kelsey's Koop

Hi! Welcome to Kelsey's Koop. My name is Kelsey and I raise rabbits with the help of my mom, Nancy. On this site I have put pictures of my rabbits; the ones for sale, my litters, and the others in the rabbitry. I will try to update this site as often as possible.

I have been in 4-H for almost 8 years and I have been raising rabbits since I was about 3 years old. I raise Holland Lops. In my rabbitry I have a variety of colors. I like to breed not only for the body type of Hollands, but also for color; I rarely have tortoises. I have Chestnut agoutis, Chinchillas, Blacks, Broken Blues, Blue Tortoises, Broken Sable Points, Siamese Sables, Oranges, and Blue Points. 

I handle my babies from the first day that they are born until the day they leave our home. I try to play with them as often as possible so they are friendly as they get older.

Our rabbits are also used to having a dog around.  This is our puppy Hampton, but we call him Hammie.  We were raising him to be a Seeing Eye dog but when he went back to the Seeing Eye facility for more training he ended up flunking because he gets car sick.  Now Hammie is a part of our family permanently and we love having him.  He loves the rabbits dearly and he even licks them.
