We specialize in producing gaited horses who know how to move smoothly, safely and comfortably over all kinds of terrain.
We don't deal in horses who require weights, gimmicks or devices to travel in a smooth 4 beat gait. Although proper training can help a horse learn to use its body to travel better and smoother, shortcuts seldom produce long lasting benefits. As each horse reaches the age of 3 we evaluate it and decide whether it is ready, physically and mentally, to learn its job. Some are ready then, some need more time. We try to be patient, because we'd rather see that horse smart sound and sane being ridden at the age of 30 than pushed for too much too soon, and retired by the age of 7.
