REFLECTION ON THE FALL 2009 CONCERT SEASON:

The Fall concert season has been a very busy one with a total of four major concert events in just three months. The season began with a performance at the Miller Auditorium where the choir had the opportunity to work with the Grammy award winning group SWEET HONEY IN THE ROCK and perform for an audience of over 2,000. Immediately following, the Concentus Vocal Ensemble performed for the Walmart corporation's annual Holiday Breakfast event to an audience of nearly two hundred. On that same day later in the evening all the choirs joined forces to give a rousing performance of J. S. Bach's cantata "Christen, ätzet diesen Tag,' BWV 63" to a packed house of music lovers. The final choral concert of the season took place just one day later when they performed for Kellogg Community College's annual Holiday Images concert. This program brought the concert season to an official close.
