Header

When numbering pages, never use #, number or page before the actual number.

The first MAIN word of the title goes in the upper left hand corner (called the header, approximately 1/2 inch from top of page) followed by authors last name. The name of my most recent book is entitled Sardurvial Dissenting. Here is an example of what my header would look like:

Body

  • Use 1 1/4 inch margins (this includes top, bottom, right & left)

  • For new paragraph, indent seven spaces

  • For letters, emails, notes & quotes, use wider margins on both left and right and use italics.

  • Use double spacing throughout entire manuscript

Chapter description format

Chapter 1

Use 20-24 point. I use 22 point

The Beginning

Chapter subtitles should be in 14-18 point. I use 16 point
