Hello and welcome to my Warhammer 40,000 website!  Here you will find details about my armies, pictures, army lists, scenarios and battle reports, and I'm sure I will add more in time!  The "Keepers of Ultramar" is my nickname for my first and largest 40k army, and as I'm sure anyone who knows their 40K geography will guess, that means Ultramarines.  I have been collecting for six years now, since the last edition of WH40K was released in fact, and I am on the point of finishing my Ultras at last, a full 10,000 points worth.  I have also started two other armies, Imperial Guard and Tyranids, and have several more armies planned, including Chaos, Cadians, and a Hive Fleet of my own divising.  You will find details and pics of all of these armies on my website and you will be able to watch them grow, as I will be updating this site reasonably regularly, (I hope!).

"Brother Rius ducked behind some rubble to reload.  All around him were the sounds of battle, the constant crashing of explosions, the chatter of small arms, and the screeching warcrys of the Orks.  Slamming another clip home Rius leapt to his feet once more, picking his targets with care, he opened fire on the nearest group of Orks charging over the rubble.  As he and half of his squad gave covering fire, the other half ran forward, clambering over the rubble towards the breech in the city walls.  Now that half ducked into new firing positions and started pumping shots into the Orks.  Rius  knew instinctively what to do.  Getting up he ran forward, always looking for a suitable place to stop and provide covering fire once more, and firing from the hip as he went.  The breech was getting ever closer, the assault of the blue armoured warriors driving the Orks back.  Then suddenly an Ork of gigantic proportions  appeared in the breech, clad in bulky mega armour, and wieleding a lethal power claw.  Rius only had time to see Ancient Galatan, the Chapter banner swaying proudly overhead, step up to meet him face to face, before a sea of Orks swarmed out of the breech.  Sensing that this was the Orks final attempt to hold back the Ultramarines, the order to hold position and pump fire into the onrushing aliens went out over the comm-net.  As one all the Ultramarines halted and took up firing stances, pouring volley after volley of controlled bolter fire into the Orks.  Then they hit.  The fighting was brutal and intense, the Orks revelling in the slaughter despite being outmatched, and the Utramarines fighting with the determination and skill that they were renowned for.  Soon it was over.  The Orks suddenly pulled out, and as they did so, Rius saw why.  Ancient Galatan was standing over the corpse of the Ork Warlord with the Banner raised high, one arm shorn off above the elbow.  With a righteous roar, the Ultramarines charged up the rubble strewn slope after the retreating Orks and poured through the breech."
