Kai Shin'ou is "the loner" at his school. He's the average loner that doesn't talk and constanly listens to his MP3 player. No one knows who the real Kai is. A "don't give a damn" kind of guy that admires the artwork in Shibuya done by the unseen graffiti artist EEM. He frequently visits Shibuya to admire EEM's works. His dormant Esper powers awaken and, in an instant, he's caught in the middle of a war between Espers. A war between Espers that want to destroy the planet to start anew and Espers that want to protect the planet and all that exist on it. Kai is about to discover that he can't hide in his own little world anymore, because, the future changes with him also.
