I just bought a 1972 (what the title says) Shasta (Stratoflyte I think). It has the bathroom (shower, toilet and sink). I am looking for any information at all on this trailer. My main question is what size lug nut do the wheels have? The trailer has not been moved in over 10 years and I can't get the tires off to replace them! I am a grandma and am looking to renovate it to be my turtle shell while I travel to my daughter's family home.

Hi Mike
I got a lot of information on the website regarding painting the trailer. However I have a couple questions and I'm not sure if you are responding to people via this guestbook or not. Is it possible for you to email me and let me know if you're available for questions? I appreciate your help.

Thank you,

I have what I think is a 1954 Ser#1441. Does that sound about right? Hard to find info on her and have yet to see one with the same body style. She has had lots of hcnages done on the inside as well I believe. Including a front end dinette set up that turns into a bed. I believe the originals had a couch bed of some sort as the cieling cabinets sit kinda low to the table area. The furnace and stove top as well as the sink and ice box have also been replaced. Do you have any more info on this year, pics etc...? Let me know Thanks

bought a used pop up palamino Filly 92 , just this past winter. needs new paint job ! what kind of paint should I use. Should I follow the same steps that i'm reading about as regular trailers. just looking for it to be decent looking, so my kids aren't a shame of camping with me. bought new stickers to replace the old peeling stripes & decals. Any information would be a huge help

I have a refurbished pair of wings for a 1976 Shasta in Very Good condition. I just have no idea what they are worth or what I should sell them for (sold the trailer already but kept the wings). Can somebody give me some idea? All the ones I see on eBay are New.
