New Puppy Orientation

In this two hour session the family learns how to train the puppy. This forms a consistent method and everyone allows the same things. You'll learn how dogs think and how best to communicate the house rules to them. You'll learn what is reasonable to expect from this youngster at each stage of his life. You'll be given an opportunity to target specific problem areas you may be experiencing.

This is a great start to incorporating a new family member. It' kind of like the 'handbook' we all wish came with our puppy!  It does not replace training or puppy kindergarden.

House Manner and Basic Skills Training

In this one hour weekly session we'll teach the basics. Your puppy or dog will learn about walking nicely on a leash, sitting and lying down, staying on command, coming when called,  not to jump on people, not to snatch food or objects that aren't dog toys etc. We can tech any specific tasks you wish as well. Trick training will be taught to you so you can add more fun and mental excercise to your pets experience.

Reiki and Canine Massage

Ahh, the gift of love. Your pet will be treated to a full massage and a healing reiki treatment. Dogs LOVE this treatment. It's good for the dog who has had an injury, is a competition dog - agility, obedience, coursing etc. While these are terriffic exercises for the dog, injury and stress happens. A reiki treatment along with massage will put your competitor at the top of the pack, give him a winning edge!
For the old friend, just wait till you see how happy and relaxed this treatment make your old pal feel! The benefits are long lasting and a health boost, ridding the body of aches, pains and toxin buildup.

Reiki for animals ~ Animals benefit greatly from reiki! Being so empathetic, animals often suffer from emotional issues that may result in behavior issues. Reiki can heal problems on an emotional level that may not even be known to the pet owner or the reiki practitioner. For the dog who has been transferred from home to home or has suffered abuse, neglect or taken on emotional strain during a stressful time in the home, reiki can be invaluable to rejuvinating this dogs' spirit. Treatments can result in a more balanced, less stressful dog. For an ill dog Reiki is a beautiful complement to conventional medicine and can enhance the benefits of allopathic medication while reducing side effects. This is a gently, loving, non-invasive therapy. Some older dogs can't handle the physical touching of massage, and can achieve similar results with reiki alone.  Reiki is always safe, and will never bring harm to any living thing. 

Dog Walking

Available as needed, on occassion, daily, weekly etc.
A potty break and play time visit is about 25 minutes, cost is $14.
Excercise suited to your dogs' specific needs and ability average time 45 - 60 minutes cost is $22. Each additional dog is $7. walked together. Training clients will have current week's training targets reviewed during these breaks.

 

As an approved Evaluator for AKC, I will schedule and test your dog to obtain this certification when you feel you're ready.
