Murphy - Our Old English Sheepdog. What a love! He doesn't have any bad habits and had achieved his Canine Good Citizen award, a Companion Dog (CD) title in UKC obedience, and is a certified Therapy Dog with Therapy Dog Inc. Murphy hasn't met the animal or person he doesn't love. He greets with an exhuberant wiggling butt and a toy in his mouth.
Trinity - The beautiful black Great Dane, so named for the cross mark on her chest in white, she truly is magnificent. She enjoys obedience work and is working toward her title, she dislikes the show ring but has humored me as many times as I've entered her. She carries her natural ears in a most attractive style, giving her a soft, gentle, elegant look. She too is a certified Therapy Dog.
Tipper - the senior member of our family came to us as an inheritance. When her devoted owner passed away she came to live with her canine cousins. It is a tribute to Murphy and especially Trinity, who welcomed this strong-willed border collie mix and moved over and allowed her to share in their world. She is about 14 years old and consistently out manouvers Trinity to return the ball/frisbee she is ball obsessed and will run herself ragged if allowed.
Kylee - Our youngest family member is our adorable Chinese Crested. I badly wanted a Chinese Crested, and could picture her in my mind. I'd been reading Chinese Crested web rings and researching breeders, when one photo I opened was the dog I'd been picturing. My ever so supportive husband and I traveled to Connecticut to pick her up and before we hit the NY border we were in love. She has continued to wiggle deeper into our hearts. She's bright, sassy, cuddley, healthy, beautiful, easy to train, clean and quiet. I can't say enough about this wonderful little dog. Look for her in the show ring. Julie Wells is her breeder, thanks Julie!
Kito - an African Gray Parrot who was a gift on my wedding day 11 years ago. He rules the roost. Calls the dogs and sometimes even fools them! He speaks in each of our voices, says "drop it - good girl" each time the dogs come in the back door.
Gordo - Our 5 year old Sulcatta Tortoise. He hangs out 'free range' style in our den. He's a quiet guy. Always nice. Not exceptionally trainable, but since he has no bad habits, it works out fine.
