Kayla's Cockers

Hello~ I'm a small hobby breeder of American Cocker Spaniels in California. I don't have puppies very often, but I would be able to help anyone looking for your new family member or if you just need some information on the Cocker Spaniel. I only raise parti color cockers. All my cockers are PRA/OFA tested prior to breeding to ensure a happy healthy cocker for years to come!

     I have 3 Cockers at this time and I would love to introduce them to you. My very first cocker I got is "Ruff"aka "CH. T-Rose N Kamay Gift Exchange".  I wanted a show dog and I helped a friend/handler of mine for a long time until I was able to purchase a show dog. Ruff is a black/tan cocker and he is going to be 11 years old this year. WOW! Where does the time go?!  I'm very sad to say, Ruff died on February 3rd, 2006. He would have been 11 very soon. I will always love and miss him so much! No matter how many dogs I have in my life no other dog can take his place. He was VERY special to me.

I also have Chloe (11 years old) which I was going to try to show also but she had other ideas. Chloes' dam was brown/white and her sire was black. So when I first bred Chloe (to a solid color cocker) she had 3 parti colors and 3 solids. I just loved the parti color cocker! So, the next cocker I got was "Kuzco"(5 years old) aka "Kayla's New Groove". He is a brown/white/tan cocker. He was very good at showing at first and all he needs is one major to finish and he decided he did not like this. I decided to give him a break and we are going to try again hopefully this year. I bred Kuzco to a chocolate/sable/white and they had beautiful babies!!! I decided to get one of them and her name is Kaycee (2 yrs old) aka "Kayla's American Melody". She is the same color as her daddy and we are hoping she shows her father how its done in the show ring. Next is Haley. She is a blue/roan and tan cocker spaniel and she is 29 months old.  This will be the first time having a cocker of this color and I'm very excited about her!!Our newest addition is Cash. He is a black/tri and is 2 years old.   Please enjoy all photos as I try to post new ones often.
