A brief history of my fanfic career...
I saw Star Wars for the first time in 1977. I was eleven years old and I fell instantly in love, with the movie itself, and particularly with Luke Skywalker. While I like the prequels (especially Revenge of the Sith, which I thought was brilliant) my first love will always be the Original Trilogy, again with the focus on Luke.
I got married in 1992, had a child in 1997, and my interest in SW waned for a while, as I dealt with Real Life things. Still, I always stopped to watch it when it appeared on TV or when someone wrote an article, and I did read most of the Expanded Universe novels that were published in the 90's. I also adore the character of Mara Jade and I thought she was perfect for Luke from the very beginning.
I then got divorced in 2002, and I desperately needed something to take my mind off my pain and utter confusion with how my life had suddenly gone in a very different direction than I'd anticipated. I was searching on Google for some cool Luke pictures that I could use as wallpaper for my new computer, when I stumbled across my first fan fic. I can't remember what it was, but I do remember how I felt as I read it.
"There are other people who do this!?"
I was astonished! I had always jotted down little stories about Luke, Leia and Han when I was younger, but I hadn't written in a very long time at this point. I became a voracious reader of SW fanfic, concentrating mainly on the Luke/Mara stories, which I found to be so much better written than the profic stories. I finally got the nerve to start my own story in February of 2003 and I finally finished it in late 2005. Yes, I'm a very slow writer!
Since November of 2005, I've become obsessed with the TV show Smallville, and I've tried my hand at a couple of short stories in this fandom. I may one day attempt a longer story, but that remains to be seen. I utterly adore the show, though!
Anyway, I've long wanted a place where I could post all my stories, since some sites don't allow higher-rated material and I love the NC-17 stories! So, such as it is, here you go. All my stories, in one place.

Oh, here's a funny thing (or at least I hope it's funny) that I wrote. The top ten signs that you're a Star Wars geeky mom:
10. You use your kid's birthday party as an opportunity to show off your new SW tattoo.
9. You see your kid off to school in the morning with a cheery "May the Force be with you!" instead of "Have a good day!" They really hate that, btw...
8. You boast when you beat your kid at SW trivia, both to him and anyone else who will listen.
7. You made your kid stay up until 3:00 am the day that ROTS had its midnight premiere because you simply could not wait a whole day to see it!
6. Your kid doesn't even bother to ask what movie is going to be playing on Family Movie Night, because well, gosh, that's a silly question, isn't it? ESB, the best one of the entire series, that's what!
5. The only question about what your kid's Halloween costume is going to be is "Which character from which trilogy?"
4. You have to keep going into your kid's room to get your toys back, dammit!
3. Your kid's name would definitely have been Luke if your ex-husband hadn't been such a whiny jerk, and vetoed the idea.
2. Your kid was more shocked when he found out that Luke Skywalker wasn't real than he was when he found out the truth about the fat guy in the funny red suit.
And the biggest sign that you are a SW geeky mom is...
1. If you've ever tried to use SW as an object lesson for your kid. "See, Anakin made bad choices. That's why he's all on the Dark Side now and stuff. You should think about that the next time you try to lie to Mommy."
