 Twas a cold and wet November day when the lad's soon to be known as Kaykorb Isskit first squared off with
their instruments.... Think of that what you will. After having a few sessionsthey decided "hey we should have a name." It then took our worthy patrons a further few weeks to finally decide upon the inevitable. ABSTRACT......"What a name for a band" they thought.
That
was until they cast a glance over to the myspace artist list
and found 236 bands with the same name. "Bollocks" they cried
without even attempting to hide they're disappointment. After
several moments of silence to remember the name that almost
was, they decided it was time for a jaffa cakebreak. Once the “is
it a cake or is it a biscuit” argument was raised it
all became clear. Thus Kaykorb Isskit were born… Since
that fateful day the lads from Kaykorb Isskit have taken the
Barnsley music scene by storm. Could it be their musical talent,
their ability to connect with their audience or just their
wonderful ability to bullshit constantly? You decide...
