I have not posted the pictures of other breeds that my daughters and I had prior to the Poodles, Corgis, Schipperkes, Whippets, Standard Schnauzer, Rough Collie and Afghan hounds. So over the 23 years of being a CKC member I have gain some canine knowledge from differant sources and fellow breeder/fanciers.

Now on to Katrina's Love and Passion for Reds; I am concentrating on Poodles that are in the Shades of Red **Only**. This began in 2003 with the importing of the first Red Standard Poodle.

During my eighteen years with the Poodle Breed, registered with the Canadian Kennel Club under the kennel name of ***DAYSPRING*** I  as a breeder sought to produce, beautiful, working, family type poodles that would in turn  produce youngsters that would graduate as service dogs for the vision, hearing and physically challanged; at DOGGuides school in Ontario http://www.dogguides.com/doghome.htm

 I have applied this knowledge gained as a breeder; to selecting wonderful Reds, and red based Apricots.

The first RED puppies arrived on September 7th 2006, a repeat breeding all RED litter arrived July 22 2007, and another red litter on July 19 2009. These special puppies' ancestors are from the USA and   from Europe. Both Parents work as Therapy Dogs, can retrieve, can swim, and are kind to little humans and animals (kittens, calves, foals). Hips OFA GOOD; DNA CLEAR FOR vWD and for NE & Eyes done every fall. Bringing a DAYSPRING POODLE  into your home be it for show/breeding or for a loving family companion..Brings as well a commitment to lifetime support from Katrina Schumacher.
