FirestaR

Firestar- the main character, a fiery pelted tom with great green eyes. He is the current leader of ThunderClan but was born in the two-leg place. His previous names were Rusty, Firepaw and Fireheart. His best friend is Graystripe and his mate is Sandstorm. Firestar has a sister, a kitty-pet named Princess and a nephew called Cloudtail. As Rusty, in his kitten days, he lived restlessly with two-legs and other cat companions like Smudge before he was attacked by Graypaw just as he begins to explore the forest. That is how Firestar's relationship with the clans began. Then Bluestar herself invites him to join them in hopes of the young tom to not only become another warrior for ThunderClan, but also be the 'fire that saves the clan'.

Graystripe

Graystripe- a grey tabby tom with broad shoulders and a thick pelt. His eyes to me are a mystery. In the first series, it was said a few times that he had big yellow eyes but in the second series, it was said in the first book that he had amber eyes. I say go with the yellow (it looks better!). Graystripe's names before were Graypaw and Graykit. He falls in love with a slender, silver she-cat named Silverstream who is in RiverClan. They have kits together but the birth brings her to her death. Feathertail and Stormfur are the resulting kittens, who end up staying in RiverClan. This separation causes Graystripe to go to that clan for a while but when he chooses to save his friend in a border battle, Graystripe was exiled from RiverClan and returns to where he was born.

Sandstorm

Sandstorm- a sharp-tongued she-cat who has been described as pale fire with green eyes. At the beggining, she and her close companion Dustpelt (Dustpaw at the time) resent Firestar for his kitty-pet roots. But, as the story goes on, she drifted from Dustpelt and became Firestar's close friend. Sandstorm was Sandpaw and Sandkit before and is currently a highly respected warrior of ThunderClan. She is good in a battle and a remarkable hunter but is also known for her stinging words.

Bluestar

Bluestar- a powerful, blue-gray she-cat with piercing blue eyes. She is the leader of ThunderClan when Firestar first arrived as the lowly kitty-pet, Rusty. Her fur is very thick and she is as graceful and quick as all cats are known for but holds a truly inspiring strength in her. Bluestar was once in love with a RiverClan cat called Oakheart and ended up having kits with him in the bitter season of leaf-bare. She lets her forbidden love take the kits to his clan in order for their survival and for her to become deputy and ultimately leader instead of another ferocious tom who would have doomed the clan. Then in the fifth book, Bluestar's belief in her clan, in StarClan and in herself finally crumbles completely and nearly ruins ThunderClan. Then, as a terrifying mastiff threatens to take her deputy's life, her senses return and she saves him. But she is killed by the raging falls along with the pack of dogs, passing away with her two kits that were never really hers watching over as they realized that she was their mother, so she went peacefully to StarClan.

Tigerclaw

Tigerclaw- a menacing, dark brown tabby tom with fierce amber eyes and broad shoulders. He is the main enemy in the first series, who secretly kills Redtail, the deputy in hopes of taking his place. Unfortunately for both Tigerclaw and Ravenpaw, the apprentice witnessed and Tigerclaw saw that the black tom was watching. Ravenpaw goes on to tell Firestar a jumbled tale of what really happened and ultimately makes Firestar and Tigerclaw mortal enemies. He had a mate in ThunderClan and a rogue mate. Goldenflower and him had two kits, Bramblekit (who becomes the main character of the next series) and Tawnykit. The rogue mate was Sasha with which he also had two kits. Then, in the third book, Firestar catches the tom attempting to murder Bluestar (which greatly contributed to her emotional collapse) and then he is exiled, only to become the next leader of the weakening ShadowClan. There, he begins to take over the forest by joining with RiverClan and the two-leg place cats, BloodClan. Tigerclaw's life ended abruptly by Scourge, the leader of the mysterious BloodClan in the sixth book.
