So we made it through the primary!  And now onwards to November! 

Thanks to the more than 2,000 people who cast their votes for me in the spring, we can now start planning for the next steps.  I'm looking forward to an exciting fall and, hopefully, at least doubling that number.  I can only describe the primary election as amazing.  I have lived in the area practically my entire life; however, I never expected that at the age of 23 I could generate enough support to have about 2,000 strangers believe in my abilities and passions.  I sincerely appreciate it and hope I have the opportunity to serve you after November's general election.

Be on the lookout for at least one big event hosted by VoteForKatie.org at the end of the summer/early in fall!  It will surely start the campaign season off right.

For those of you who may be new to my website, please, explore and learn more about me and my positions.  This is a very important race for our community, but school board races are far too often overlooked.  I'm hoping to generate excitement and to get more people active in the upcoming months to lead to my first general election victory.  If you have any questions or comments, never hesistate to contact me at Katie@VoteForKatie.org.
