A Month of Compleanno
Kati Maya has been enjoying an entire month of birthday celebrations. Not a bad way to celebrate your first birthday, no?!
Nonna and Nonno visited April 3-11 and we had a small celebration with them.
Nana visited April 15-21 and we had another small celebration with her.
Kati Maya was able to be the star at her school on her birthday.
And, she had a small gathering of friends at our house/flat.

Kati Maya's Birthday Wish List
Ciao all,
My birthday is coming soon. Yeah! If you are interested in sending me a gift, here is my wish list. (Mom and Dad are helping me by adding links to pictures of toys. These are examples only. I don't care who makes them or where they are bought.)
First, I would appreciate a few dollars in my 529 college fund; the best gift will be college.
Second, I have so many clothes due to my friends and my Great Aunt Clara!!!!!
A girl does need some toys too, especially some developmental toys to make sure I can use my 529 funds. Here we go.....
- Board books with one picture spanning the fold (example I don't have yet: Very Hungary Caterpillar)
- Board books with textures
- Board books with flaps with pictures underneath
- Board books with photographs of animals (again see number 1)
- Stacking ring (you know the cone that has smaller and smaller rings as you put them on)
- Cause and effect toys (example: I push a button and a man pops up)
- Cause and effect toys (example: I put the ball in and it goes down the slide or hoop and then I have to pick it up and again to do it again.)
- Blocks for stacking
- Popbeads (maybe at Walmart - good luck)
- Large lego-like blocks
- That thing I roll around on a stick that makes a sound like popping popcorn
- Baby doll with realistic facial features (help with facial feature recognition)
- Crayons (with largest size crayons, so I can actually hold them) - no 128 color boxes for now
- Car or train with wheels that I can roll around easily
- A pull toy (did I mention I love telephones)
