Provide a home...not a litter!

Kathy's Kitties is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to a trap-neuter-return program that stabilizes populations, reduces birth rates and improves the overall health of the colony of feral cats.

All stray cats deserve our compassion and protection, and we believe that there are humane, effective ways to control their population -- that is, through sterilization instead of destruction.

Our mission is to rescue abused, neglected, abandoned and/or unwanted kitties and give them a new home. It is our hope to effect social change in this country to ensure that animals are regarded as loving companions; to alleviate the overpopulation problem in the communities by assisting in TNR; and to provide an animal education service to the public. We don't believe in using the practice of euthanasia unless medically required and that being unwanted and/or homeless should not prevent an animal from being cared for.

Due to the lack of enough funding Kathy's Kitties has no shelter facility.

Are you feeding feral cats?

WE CAN HELP YOU TNR (Trap-neuter-return) YOUR COLONY!
Contact me, I can lend you traps, and arrange free/low cost spay/neuter for feral cats if you live in Kempner and/or surrounding communities in Texas.

I lend you the traps and show you how and when to use them. You trap the kitties and I will hold them overnight then take them to the vet's the following morning. I will then return them to you after 7 p.m. that day, for you to hold them for recovery.

Donations

Supplies needed

for a local non-profit spay clinic.

Our community has a huge feral cat overpopulation and we do the majority of our work helping to eradicate it through humane TNR (trap-neuter-return) procedures. Thus far Kathy's Kitties has spay/neutered over 940 feral/stray cats, adopted out 63 sterilized kittens and stabilized over 50 colonies as well as provide shelters and feeders. Our overall accomplishments can be verified and measured by looking at Copperas Cove Animal Control report from 2006 to 2007. They took in 49 less cats and euthanized 19 less cats resulted from our hard work.

We want to have a greater impact on the people and animals in our community and low-cost spay/neuter would help get at the root cause of the animal overpopulation problem. We want to do our best for the homeless animals in our community, who are so often the silent victims of abuse and neglect. They are our number one priority at all times. Your kind support would be a blessing that helps us save more lives more often!

Please help us reach that goal by donating any of these supplies. Of course, monetary donations are always welcome!
