Toni-Lu:

Kathy's twin sister.  The eldest of the two, her parents kept her whilst gave Kathy away.  She was raised in Dublin Ireland, spoiled as a child, due to her parents' wealth, and became an 'independant businesswoman' by starting her own brothel at 16.  An early age, but she was more than capable to take care of herself.  She reunited with her sister after such a long time in not exactly the best way; back when Kathy battled more.  After many fights, they got to know eachother, and dropped any petty issues with eachother once their parents grew ill.  Once they died, the twins became nearly inseperable.

Kaze:

The eldest of her children fathered by Tanaka Kikai, Kaze was the twinkle in Kathy's eye.  A proper gentleman despite his father, whome wasnt there through most of his childhood, Kaze did whatever he could to take care of his mother, even as a child.  After he had become an adult, he decided to travel the world and learn more about it.  He visits his mother on occasion, but never lost contact.

Hariko:

The second born, fathered by Tanaka Kikai.  Riko was a bit more.. rambunctious as a child, taking after her father's traits.  She grew to love her mother more than anything, as had Kaze, and her heart for her father was nearly non existant due to his constant dissapearing.  She loves fighting, sparring, and her sexual preference is still unknown to Kathy.

Manji:

The third born, fathered by Tanaka Kikai.  Manji is still but a toddler, and, of course, will grow without his father due to his growing insanity.  He has the potential of a priest, and Kathy plans to take advantage of this; to raise him to be a pirest.  Poor Manji has no idea what has been happening with his mother and his father, and Kathy plans to keep the source of their separation from her son, hoping his memories of his father were good ones.

Akasuki::

Akasuki is the daughter of Katherin and Ichiro Kaminari.  Born only recently, Manji has grown close to his little sister.  She's affectionate for a newborn kitten, and loves her parents very much, even though she's only known them a short time. 

BIO:

Katherin was born the daughter of a wealthy family in Dublin Ireland. Her father was a very successful tradesman, her mother a noble.  The two had met maybe four years before her birth.  Their marrage was only an arranged marrage, but a very successful one.  The two had fallen for eachother hard, concemating just after the announcement of their engagement. They only intended on having one daughter, but as they soon realized, whilst her mother was pregnant with her, there was another sharing the womb at her side, a very active female feline even before birth, which her parents named Toni.  Unfortunately for poor Katherin,  Toni was the first born, Katherin was the runt, smaller and more feeble than her eldest sister.  Though her parents cared for the poor child, they did not want her.  Her father took her to a man who had some interest in owning a child, but not to love, just as a slave. 
The man traveled with the newborn throughout the continents; Ireland, Europe, France, Italy, Rome, and eventually Arabia, where his travels soon came to a halt. 

He stopped in a very well to do village (or kingdom if you prefer) to buy and trade.  Ah, but this man had no morals; ripping off the poor that wished to trade with him, stealing from booths and selling the goods as his own.  The guards caught word of the thief and, by order of the emperor, tracked him down near the outskirts of the kingdom and slaughtered him, taking his material posessions to the emperor, including the young redheaded baby.  As the emperor went through the items, his high guard held the child to him, asking what he should do with it.  The emperor stopped, gazing over the child in wonder.  Never had he seen such a thing with bright red hair and beautifull blue eyes.  Since he kept anything he felt of value or rarity, he decided to keep the child and raise her as his own.

Katherin kept her name through her childhood.  The Emperor knew the name by a paper that was written in three different languages, one happening to be arabic, that showed ownership/parent hood of the child.

She was a very happy child, growing with no life changing events until the age of five, when her "father" was assasinated by an invading country; taking her and other women in the palace as slaves.  Oh, but the leader of this group showed interest in the young girl, due to her ears being pierced to show her status.   She was kept with him for four years with him not touching a hair on her head.  Once she reached the age of eight, her "owner" began to sexually molest her, this lasting through years and failed escape attempts.  At the age of twelve, she grew weary of the treatment and one night, she waited until her owner was asleep after yet another assault. She took the dagger he kept close to his pillow and jabbed it into his heart repeatedly.  Late that night, she ran from the tent, running from the army who chased her until they lost her scent in an old forest, where she stayed protected in the ruins of an ancient civilization. 

At this age, a small marking began to appear on her right shoulder blade, unknown to her. 


Three years later, she stumbled onto a ship that led her to a beautiful country; Japan.  She hadnt seen such a beautiful place with beautiful people in her entire life.  One of the shipmates that she borded with (or rather, snuck her in), taught her the Japanese language the best he could, and what she learned afterwords was result of many mistakes in speech, and kind people to teach her, though rare that they were.
