Description: This video centers on Sam, and his rather angsty side in the story. It shows how badly he misses the Shire and the friends he's had to leave behind. But more than anything, it shows how much he misses Frodo: he's been forced to watch the Ring overcome his friend, and in his heart Sam knows that Frodo will never be the same. To quote the song, he knows that Frodo has "slipped away"; he knows that the Frodo he knew is never coming back.

Notes: This is a video showing Sam's unconditional dedication. He'll do anything for Frodo... he'd die for Frodo... but it seems all he ever recieves in return is Frodo's contempt. The Ring has tightened it's grip on Frodo, and all Sam can do is watch and hope that he can save him.

Notes: There's a lot I could say about this video, and I'm not quite sure where to begin. lol. It was the most fun to make; it was the hardest to make; it gave me all kinds of headaches; and I seriously hope this is my best LotR vid to date. I think that sums it up. LOL. This is basically a general LotR vid... "The Lord of the Rings In Four-and-a-Half Minutes" could be an alternate title. Hehe. This vid spans the entire trilogy, beginning to end, and covers all the vital events of the story. It's action-packed and battle-scene-heavy.
You may recognize the song I used; it's Preliator by Globus, but it's a "rework" of the Immediate Music song Lacrimossa, which was used in the Spiderman 2 trailer. The song was half the fun, as it's probably one of my favorite songs of all time! And it sounded like it was written for LotR.

Notes: This is my second Sam video... I mean, he's my all-time favorite character, what do you expect? lol. This one is a bit more light-hearted than the last one, and is meant to show Sam's dedication and loyalty to Frodo and the Quest (and eventually Rosie Cotton). I got everything put together within 2 hours, but when I went to save it a bunch of problems sprang up, which turned it into a very hard one to get right... so far, the only problem I haven't figured out how to fix is the credits; for some reason, the credits turned out really "pixellated" this time, and I can't seem to get that fixed. Oh well.

Also, I dedicate this video to Sean Astin, the wonderful actor who protrayed Sam. He played Sam so perfectly as I had imagined him... I'm always gonna admire him for that. So this one's for you, Mr. Astin! If you're reading this, sir, I'm a big fan, and if I were meeting you in person I'd be chattering at a million-miles-per-hour and begging for an autograph and a picture!!

Notes: Well, here is what I consider to be my first "horror" video, although I don't know if it's horror-ish enough to be called that. I think it's definately creepy, though, if that counts. Anyway, I heard this song (or this portion of the song), and it instantly made me think of the Ringwraiths. I admit that I only use a small portion of the song (the whole thing is over 5 minutes long!), but I'll be honest in the fact that I don't think I could have done much with the rest of the track. Also, if I have any information on the song wrong (title, composer), please let me know [post it in my guestbook, for instance].
