Hi, and welcome to the West Michigan Chinchilla Ranch!      We are breeders of show quality chinchillas located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Chinchillas are small, furry little animals that make great pets and wonderful companions. Many people have come to realize how loving they are and that they are pretty easy to care for as pets. We almost ALWAYS have chins for sale and they are posted on the 'For Sale' page. Often, we will have babies that haven't made it to the 'For Sale' page yet; so if you don't see something you want, feel free to ask. I just might have a baby that hasn't been weaned yet! Our family of nearly 30 chins is shown on the 'Our Breeders' pages.      Our chinchillas are held often and have lots of human interaction. Our breeders are mostly set up in trios, however, we do have several pairs in breeding. We are also members of the Mutation Chinchilla Breeders Association.      We don't require you to sign a contract to own one of our chinchillas as we feel we get to know people well by talking via e-mail. We welcome any questions you may have as we had quite a few when we first started out too! All of our chinchillas are fed Tradition chinchilla pellets that's made by Hubbard. When you buy a chinchilla, you receive 3 1/2 lbs. with every chinchilla. As a courtesy to my customers, I sell Tradition for $1.00 per pound. This is very close to my cost. Tradition comes in 50 lb. bags and people with one or two chinchillas may not want to buy such large bags. I may ship Tradition under certain conditions.
