“Karnival sebenarnya bermula dari sebuah band yang naïf, yang hanya ingin bermain musik. Pernah seketika kami mula bosan dengan tiadanya progresif pada Karnival. Pada waktu itu juga kami mula sedar bahawa tanggung jawab kami bukan sekadar bermain musik sahaja tetapi lebih daripada itu…”

We are glad to break the news that the Hari Raya compilation album is out! After the success of the first compilation cd last year, this year ‘Nevermind the ketupat here are the raya songs 2’ is a celebration of life and most importantly, to support charity. All 100% of the proceeds will go to the people of Jogjakarta & a local charity. The bands who have been inspired in joining this project are Sound Salvation, Shine, Kluk Kluk Adventure (Malaysia), U!D, Global Chaos, Force Vomit, Aegyptie, K’Band (Indonesia), Phatnatrix, Mambang, Call The Paramedics (Malaysia), Mahagenta (Indonesia), Jack Steady & The Funk Family, 4Sides, Sirr Fill Sirr and De’Chemongs. Karnival is also pleasured to fit one song titled ‘Kau Cintaku’ to the album. The reason we chose this song is due to the simple message whereby love & compassionate is a simple thing to give but that is what the world is lacking right now. Hello to everybody. Thanks for checking out our webbie. It’s been quite a while since we updated this baby. It has been quite a busy period for each member's of the band. Apart from minding our own business, we are involved in a Hari Raya compilation album that features many prolific bands from all over the region. We are excited about this project and we hope all of you guys will be too when the cd is out in the near period.
