Some things, which we must, all consider...  "Karin Hiebert" Healing tools...

Did you know,

The average human thinks approximately 60,000 thoughts per day? Did you know that you can stop a thought, a flashback, a negative emotion, by simply changing a thought, to something different? I have learned in my therapy, that you hold on to this new, thought, for 17 seconds, and immediately you have stopped a negative thought, from affecting you negatively.

Healing tools...What are they?

No matter what it is you are doing or are trying to achieve in life, your feelings are the best guide you will ever have. It’s the way you feel about a situation or another person that indicates whether that situation or person is well placed in your life.

I suppose you could call it a "gut instinct but whichever way you look at it, you should always trust your feelings as your feelings never lie."

I have learned that, you can change what you think about something at any given moment, however, you can’t immediately change how you feel about it. Your thoughts are on the surface of your mind or at a conscious level, however your feelings run much deeper at the subconscious level.

It is a simple and daily practice to change your thoughts. The process of changing your thoughts can also be positive and constructive. For example if you wake up each morning and think how much you dislike your life, your partner, your situation, in the example of going to work, work will continue to be a drag and your feelings will follow your thoughts and you will most probably feel miserable at work.

If you change how you think about going to work to something of a more positive nature you may begin to enjoy your work or the universe may respond by presenting to you a new work opportunity. Subsequently, as you change your negative thoughts about work to positive ones, in time your feelings will follow. The process must begin though by changing your thoughts, and believing in what you think before you have any chance of changing the way you feel.

Following your feelings should be universal in every area of your life. It doesn’t just apply to relationships or your career. You could feel stuck in the town you are living or perhaps even the country you are living. You never need to be scared about making a decision, even if it’s a life changing one, if it feels right. I am not saying everything will work out perfectly if you decide to make a change but what I will say is your feelings are instinctively linked to your intuition and those feelings come from a place inside you that wants you to be happy.

If you are person who is naturally cautious or likes to cling to security but deep inside your feelings are screaming at you to let go and break out, try following your feelings in some way that does not disrupt the greater part of your life and get a “feel” for what may lie ahead if you did make a serious change. It’s your life and only you can live it the way you really want to. Trust your feelings and they will lead you to your ultimate peace of mind.

There are many various healing techniques, therapies, coping skills, and tools available...here are a few for starters...

Thought stoppping...you think of something uncomfortable, you know if you dwell on it, it will become your day, your week, your reality...

Do not give in to those thoughts!

pick something else to concentrate on, good things, fun things, a peaceful image, a goal, a baby, whatever it is that will bring you to another state of thinking, feeling, and being. This gives you the opportunity to stop, and do something better.

The next thing is, repetition, practice, and knowing the key...(below paragraph)

here is something else to look into, with immediate results...

Repetition Is The Key

No matter what it is in life you are striving to achieve, be successful at or trying to overcome, one often overlooked essential ingredient is simple repetition. The more you do or say the same thing over and over again, the more likely you will make it happen. If you want to be a good golfer, swimmer or tennis player, the repetition of playing or practicing every chance you get is what will make you a better performer. Repetition is so important that you don’t even need to be initially good at something to eventually achieve greatness in any particular endeavor.

In regards to personal development there are a number of areas where repetition can supercharge your results and I myself have seen huge changes seemingly appear overnight due to my attention to repetition. One area where repetition is of paramount importance is in the application of positive affirmations. If you have a particular goal you want to achieve it doesn’t matter if you know where to begin or how on earth you are going to achieve it, simply by repeating an affirmation in the present tense as often as possible, the action steps towards the achievement of that goal will be presented to you.

At first your mind might not accept or believe it is possible to achieve your set goal but through a constant drowning of your thoughts with the same repetitive affirmation, in time your subconscious will eventually accept the idea and you will see it begin to manifest in your life. The biggest problem most people seem to face is that they don’t see immediate results and give up. I’m not telling you anything new by saying giving up will get you nowhere.

It will take some work on your part to stick with it and the great thing about repeating affirmations, thought stopping, and thought shifting... is you can do it anywhere and at any time. You can repeat affirmations, new thoughts, goals, dreams, to yourself upon waking, having a shower, traveling, taking an elevator, walking and virtually anytime you are not engaged in a conversation with someone. Nobody even needs to know as you are repeating them to yourself without needing to move or open your mouth.

When using the technique of creative visualization, repetition can help speed up your results.

Your reality or what you see around you is the manifestation of what you habitually think or see in your minds eye. If you constantly see images of yourself only just managing to get by financially or not being with your ideal partner, you can change that most certainly with repetition. Begin to see yourself living in the house of your dreams or driving your new car or being with your ideal partner, smiling and laughing. The constant repetition of these thoughts or images in your head will lead to these things coming into your life. However, you need to keep an eye out for the syncronisities or opportunities as they appear in your life.

Without being aware of it, people often repetitively play the same negative mental images over and over in their mind and have no idea they are the very cause of all their own problems. However, people who have become spiritually aware know that what ever images you repeat in your mind will become your experiences. It is just that simple. The key is to try and catch yourself when the negative thoughts or images appear in your mind and then begin to play repetitively, the positive movie in you mind. During a quiet time imagine yourself doing or having whatever it is you want and substitute this positive mental picture anytime you are running a negative image through your mind. With repetition you will change your circumstances for the better.

The use of repetition can be applied to so many things in your life but the key to success is not to give up. If you want something bad enough there may be a number of steps you need to perform to get it but without a doubt, it will be repetition that will help you get there faster. So remember, repetition, repetition, repetition, it’s a good habit to get into.

DO not harm yourself, anymore....

You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.

And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive him or her to be.

And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.

Words carry energy and this gives language its power and its potential to heal or hurt.

Most of us can remember a time that someone sent a word our way, and it stuck with us. It may have been the first time we received a truly accurate compliment, or the time a friend or sibling called us a name, but either way it stuck. This experience reminds us that what we say has weight and power and that being conscious means being aware of how we use words.

The more conscious we become, the more we deepen our relationship to the words we use so that we speak from a place of actually feeling what we are saying. We begin to recognize that words are not abstract, disconnected entities used only to convey meaning; they are powerful transmitters of feeling. For the next few days, you might want to practice noticing how the words you say and hear affect your body and your emotional state.

Notice how the different communication styles of the people in your life make you feel. Also, watch closely to see how your own words come out and what affect they have on the people around you.

You may notice that when we speak quickly, without thinking, or rush to get our ideas across, our words don't carry the same power as when we speak slowly and confidently, allowing those receiving our words time and space to take them in.

When we carefully listen to others before we speak, our words have more integrity, and when we take time to center ourselves before speaking, we truly begin to harness the power of speech. Then our words can be intelligent messengers of healing and light, transmitting deep and positive feelings to those who receive them.

Many people who self-injure keep it a secret and are ashamed because they may feel like they are crazy, insane and evil. They fear if they tell anyone, they might be locked away forever. The truth is, people who intentionally harm themselves are in fact very normal and sane people, who are in a lot of emotional pain. Unfortunetly emotional pain, such as I had experienced, at my worst pain, also brings on ideations of suicide. Some, are not as blessed as I was to have survived a suicide attempt. Emotional pain is as severe as the worst physical pain one can experience...

Sometimes we get to a point in our lives when we realize that no matter what we seem to do nothing ever changes. We no longer find happiness through the activities we once enjoyed or with the people we usually associate with. We know there is a problem somewhere within the framework of our life but we just can’t seem to put our finger on what it is that is making us unhappy.

Perhaps it’s not even unhappiness that is our problem, it could just be a sense of stagnation, a feeling that our life has come to a standstill and we realize we are no longer in motion.

I think almost everybody has hit this wall at some stage in their life, I know I have, but the solution to overcoming this problem could be much easier than you think and just waiting to be implemented today.

When you begin to suffer from symptoms of boredom and frustration, these feelings produce a kinetic type of energy that is transmitted into the universe drawing to you more of the same energy you are sending out. You end up in a rut that never seems to get any better because you continue to transmit this negative frequency and this habit creates a recurring theme in your life.

We have the power to alter this frequency but to do this effectively we need to generate a new habit. This can be difficult if your old negative habit is deeply engrained in your subconscious mind but it is not impossible. To do this we need to go back and consider the basic principles of energy.

Breaking a bad mental habit is very similar to breaking a bad physical habit.

When you are habitually lazy, don’t exercise and eat all the wrong foods you physically manifest a body that indicates that you don’t exercise or eat properly. To break this poor physical habit you need to get in motion. Motion is in fact the only manifestation of energy. There are different types of motion in the form of wind, rain, waves in the ocean and sunshine, these are active forms of energy. There are also potential forms of energy in fossil fuels like coal and oil that are just waiting to be converted from passive to active energy. So breaking a poor mental habit requires the same approach, you need to get moving.

In the material world we see energy being converted from one form of energy to another constantly. This conversion process is called transmutation of energy, it is and always will be a continuing, never ending process.

We manifest energy in our lives through words, thoughts and actions.

What we believe to be true manifests itself in our life 100% of the time.

Our reality is simply the manifestation of our belief and the reality in which we live is the true indicator of what our beliefs really are. We have a measure of control over our lives by using energy in our favor. By maintaining positive thought forms and using words that serve what it is we really want instead of talking or keeping our minds focused on what we don’t want, we draw events that reside on positive frequencies.

The more we focus on a positive thought, the more energy we give it. This causes a vibration residing on a higher frequency to be transmitted out into the universe gaining more positive energy and returns to us an even higher frequency of vibration as it returns as a positive event or situation in our reality.

Habitually positive people give off higher vibrations than negative or pessimistic people and they have the ability to raise the vibrations of others. You may have experienced this yourself with certain people you know or when you meet someone for the first time and you suddenly have a heightened sense of well being.

The longer you hold onto negative thought forms the more they increase over time and the harder it becomes to rid yourself of this harmful pattern. The trick to overcoming a negative train of thought is to tackle it head on. For example if you don’t like a particular person, someone who is causing you untold grief, instead of thinking negatively about this person you should do one of two things.

Either give this person no thought at all or if you do think about them, avoid any negative thoughts or feelings related to them. If your thoughts do drift onto this person imagine or visualize them smiling at you, shaking your hand or making some other positive gesture towards you. If you have no money, either don’t think about it which I do agree is a difficult thing to try and do or visualize your wallet full of one hundred dollar bills, imagine yourself driving your new car and make it feel as real as you can by incorporating as many of your senses into your visualization. Probably the most effective visualization technique I find is to see yourself as being happy, picture your own face smiling, see yourself laughing, having fun or just feeling good.

No matter what feelings you are trying to transmute, if you see yourself in a happy, feel good kind of place, all manner of positive energy will come your way!

Whatever it is we feel, is what we send out to others. Other people can pick up on your vibrations and you will attract others residing on a similar vibration or frequency to your own. Like is attracted to like, it is a universal law and is in effect always. Pay particular attention to your words, they say a lot about who you are and what you think about.

Your greatest power is in this moment, you can begin to change your life right now, the past mistakes you have made and the previous events of your life have come about from your old ways of thinking and from the words you have previously spoken. By starting fresh from this moment you can begin by using words that work towards your benefit, not your detriment. Right words lead your thoughts in a new direction and that direction is entirely in your hands. Transmute your old negative thoughts into optimistic ones and you will have more positive energy to transform your life.

Universal Laws govern the Universe. They are basic principles of life and have been around since Creation. They are laws of the Divine Universe. Universal Laws apply to everyone, everywhere. They cannot be changed. They cannot be broken. The Law of Attraction is a philosophy that posits to never dwell on the negative, as the metaphysical principle of life is embodied in a "law of attraction': "you get what you think about, your thoughts determine your destiny."
