Welcome Family & Friends to Karen's Korner............ Come and journey through the pages, relax and have a cup of coffee with me. Enjoy!

I have not stopped giving thanks to God for you. I always remember you in my prayers,
asking the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, to give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation so that you will know him better.
I pray also that you will have greater understanding in your heart so you will know the hope to which he has called us and that you will know how rich and glorious are the blessings God has promised his holy people.
And you will know that God’s power is very great for us who believe. That power is the same as the great strength
God used to raise Christ from the dead and put him at his right side in the heavenly world.
God has put Christ over all rulers, authorities, powers, and kings, not only in this world but also in the next.
God put everything under his power and made him the head over everything for the church,
which is Christ’s body. The church is filled with Christ, and Christ fills everything in every way.
Ephesians 1:16-23
~CLINGING TO A SAVING HAND~
There will always be trials and storms of life as long as we are on this earth. We don't have
to worry or fear, as we have a saving hand to cling to. Jesus reaches further down than we
could ever reach up. We can hold on to His hand as we go through life. His spiritual hand
and power is extended to all men, as He bids them to come unto Him. We find real
peace when we lean on the everlasting arms of our Savior.
When the Lord called unto Peter to step out of the boat, he obeyed. As long as his
eyes were fixed on Jesus, Peter was safe and by faith could walk on toward the Lord.
When he looked at the circumstances, his situation changed. As long as we keep our
faith in Christ and our eyes on Him, we have the assurance that we will be safe in Him.
Jesus still walks on the troubled waters of our life and will still speak "peace be still"
to the raging storms. There is nothing to difficult for our God to do.
We must have a made up mind to serve the Savior with all our heart
and lay up treasures in heaven. Stephen Curtis Chapman sings a song with
lyrics which should be the declaration of all of us.
I will hold on to the hand of my Savior
And I will hold on with all my might
I will hold loosely to things that are fleeting
And hold on to Jesus
I will hold on to Jesus for life
If you feel overwhelmed by the problems and cares of life, look unto the Lord and let Him
carry your heavy burdens. His yoke is easy and His burden is light. When we are heavy
laden, we can give our problems to the Lord and take His burden as we give Him ours.
We don't have to carry our burdens alone as we have one who cares and is our burden
bearer. Keep holding on to the hand of Jesus and lean on His everlasting arms.
Blessings In Christ,
