Chesapeake International Airport opened on January 1,2006. It will serve the greater Chesapeake area including Maryland, Delaware and northern Virginia. It is located in Crisfield,  MD, approx 80 miles north of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge / Tunnel and approx 170 miles south of Philadelphia. It also serves the greater Washington, Baltimore, Philadelphia and Norfolk areas. KCPK currently has over 300 daily departures and arrivals. 

Chesapeake International is served by eleven domestic carriers including airlines such as Delta, United, Southwest, US Airways, American, Northwest and Continental. Terminals and are the domestic  terminals. Each domestic terminal has a retail area and an extensive food court.

In addition to the three domestic terminals, Chesapeake International has an international terminal  and is served by airlines such as Lufthansa, British Airways, Air France, Alitalia, Air Canada, Aeromexico and Qantas. The international terminal also has various restaurants and shops.
