Abnormally, Spiritually, Paranormally Me

My name is Kara, I’m a 30 something Home Care Assistant from Bolton, Lancashire, UK.  I’m currently studying for my NV Level 2 in Health and Social Care and I love my work.  As a Home Care Assistant I care for elderly people in their own homes, it’s hard work at times but very rewarding and also quite tiring.

I live with my parents in Bolton, I have a younger brother who lives with his partner and two children.

I’m a very spiritual person and am deeply interested in the paranormal, not least because I have had several paranormal experiences of my own which I have wrote about on the “Paranormally Intrigued” page of this website.  In a spiritual capacity I am interested in astrology and tarot and when I have the time and patience I am trying to learn how to do both of these fascinating activities.

In my spare time I like to read, draw, write poetry, listen to music etc, etc.  I also like to spend time with my family and friends.  But at times I just like to enjoy my own space so will often spend time on my own, in my room either, reading or messing about on the net, chatting to y friends and keeping my various web pages up to date.

I like to read horror novels particularly James Herbert novels and I also like to read true stories and autobiographies.  I love horror movies and also any films starring Anthony Hopkins and Russell Crowe.  I’m a huge fan of TV shows like CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Fringe and Most Haunted.  I also like going to the cinema although I must admit it’s been ages since I saw a movie at the cinema  and I love going to the theatre mainly to see musicals.

I like all kinds of music with the exception of Rap, R&B and that techno dance shit that’s played in nightclubs these days.  I am at the moment a big fan of Pink, Duffy and Gabriella Cilmi but I mostly love 80’s pop music.

I’m a very family orientated person but I’m also very independent, like I said earlier I love my job but my family is more important.

I would also like to add that my website is updated as regualrly as I can whenever my work schedule allows me the time.  So if there is a lack of blog posts, forum posts or any other activity on my site then it's because I'm at work, studying or spending time with my family and friends.
