Darlene's Potatoe Casserole

POTATO CASSEROLE

1. ONE 2LB PACKAGE FROZEN HASHBROWNS (BUDS)

2. 1/2 CUP MELTED BUTTER/MARGARINE

3. 1 TEASPOON SALT

4. 1/4 TEASPOON PEPPER                                                                        

5. 1/3 CUP DRIED ONION FLAKES (MAY USE FRESH CHOPPED)

6. 1 CAN CREAM OF CHICKEN SOUP (8OZ.)

7. 1 PINT SOUR CREAM

8. 2 CUPS GRATED CHEDDAR CHEESE

9. 1 CUP CRUSHED CORN FLAKES

USE 13" X 9" CASSEROLE, IT WILL BE FULL.  PUT POTATOES IN CASSEROLE (FROZEN). SPRINKLE WITH SOME OF THE BUTTER.  MIX REMAINING BUTTER WITH CORN FLAKE CRUMBS, SET ASIDE.  MIX REMAINING INGREDIENTS IN A BOWL. POUR OVER POTATOES. TOP WITH CORN FLAKE CRUMB MIXTURE.  BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 45 MINUTES

  

 

 



Monster Cookies


 

 

From Aunt Lynn Dee


2 lbs of brown sugar

4 cups of white sugar

1 TB of vanilla

1 TB of white karo syrup

8 tsp of baking soda

12 eggs

1 lb butter

3 lbs peanut butter

18 cups oatmeal

1 lb chocolate chips

1lb M and Ms


Mix in dishpan in order given. Drop by large spoon or ice cream scoop. Place 6 to 9 on a cookie sheet.

DO NOT OVER BAKE!

350 degrees for 12 minutes.

 



Christa's Monster Cookies


1 cup butter                                      1 egg                                                 

1 cup sugar                                         3 1/2 cups flour

1 cup brown sugar                             1 cup oatmeal

1 cup vegetable oil                             1 cup coconut

2 tsp vanilla                                          1 cup rice krispies

1 tsp soda                                            1/2 cup chocolate chips

1 tsp cream of tartar                            1/2 cup peanut butter chips

 

I also add a dash of cinamon and a couple spoons of peanut butter.

Mix everything together and drop  by scoopfuls onto cookie sheet.

Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.

Mississippi Mud

4 eggs                       1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup butter               1/2 cup cocoa

2 cups sugar              1 teaspoon vanilla

1 1/2 cup nuts            pinch of salt

Minature marshmallows

Bake in a 9 by 13 pan at 350 degrees until firm.

Cover with minature marshmallows and return to oven until melted. Cover with icing.

Icing:

1/2 cup cocoa                 1 box  confectioners sugar

1/2 cup butter                  1 teaspoon vanilla

1 small can Carnation milk

Mix all ingredients. Do not use the whole can of milk. Use just enough for the frosting to be the right consistency. Spread on brownies.
