Howdy - Once again apologies for lack of posts but once agin we have been really busy. Thanks to some wonderful voters Kalieda were placed at No.8 in BT RadioMagnetic top 10 chart - with over 180 bands up for voting top 10 is really good. Kalieda have recently dropped out of the top 10 but if you want to change that you can go login and vote for us at BT RadioMagnetic.
Kalieda have had some crackin gigs these past couple of months and thanks to anyone who made it along. We played The Arches on the 6th of October and it was a fantastic gig for us. The crowd really got into our set and we played the best we've played in a long time.
Kalieda played a packed Paisley Student Union on the 13th of October in a gig to pay homage to the work John Peel has done for unsigned bands all over. It was a great night and one we were proud to be apart of.
We've got some gigs booked up so check out the dates and see if you can make it along.
Cheers

Whoooooh! We haven't stopped these past couple months, hence the lack of posts in the diary. We have been gigging a lot and writing a lot. We've also had our hols and are now in the process of getting a couple of the new tunes ready for gigging. We just did a gig at the opening of the Evolution Skatepark in Stevenston. It was a great day with some top notch bands ranging from the heavy riffs of Little Panic to the rockin melodies of El-Jugador to the funky hip hop beats of All Time High. There waz a good variety of music styles and it was a great showcase of scottish talent and culture. It was a new experience for kalieda as we've now played on a truck(a Stationary truck thank god)(and when i say 'stationary' i dont mean like pencils and rulers and stuff, I mean like not movin.) Got some gigs comin up try and come along - kaliedaonline@yahoo.co.uk for ticket info.
Cheers

Well hello there> it's been a while for an update i know but kalieda have been busy over the past month with a bunch of gigs. We've had a great time gigging and have met some really cool bands in the process such as; El-Jugador - The Mocha Nights - Samantha Seth - Wyldflower etc. Check out their sites if you get a chance. Kalieda have a few more gigs lined up then we are takin a wee break to write some new material so catch us while you can (gig dates). See you soon.
Hi Everybody! (in a doctor Nik accent) thanks to all who came to the gig in Macsorelys. It was a good night even though i(sean) went in a huff cause i knocked my guitar out of tune whilst preparing to do my only fancy bit in the entire set! Never the less the crowd seemed to enjoy what we were doing. The other bands were great and they put on a really tight performance. We will have the pleasure of playing alongside The Mocha Nights again in the Vale on the 25th of May (£3 over 18) try and come along if you can. Cheers.
Hello. Thanks to everyone who came to the gig at the Vale. It is without doubt one of the strangest stage set-ups we've played on, however it was great fun and the sound was good. We've been offered another gig there so keep your eye out for a new date soon. Hope to see some familiar faces at the Macsorelys gig tomorrow night. Cheers

Well hello there. What have Kalieda been up to i hear you ask?Just recently Kalieda were played on the radio for the first time. Jim Gellatly of beat106 was kind enough to give us some air time and also plug our up and coming gigs. It was an exciting week for kalieda as, not only were we played on the radio, we also played a charity gig at the QMU in Glasgow. This was the biggest gig to date for Kalieda, and although we (well just Sean really) were a bit pissed it was a really good night. All the bands put on a good show and raised £560.40 for a really good cause(www.taskbrasil.org).
Kalieda have some gigs coming up. Check out the Gig Dates page.
