Formed four years ago in Greenock. Line up: 5 piece–Singer (female), 2 Guitarists, bassist and Drummer. Style: Catchy pop rock, have been compared to a rockier version of ‘The Sundays’ on numerous occasions. Influences: Jeff Buckley, Adam Duritz, Otis Redding, The Clash, The Sundays etc. 1 - so far this year played 12 gigs in numerous venues such as; The QMU - Fury Murys - The Cathouse - The Vale - MacSorelys Bar - The Arena (Kilmarnock) - The Soundhaus etc. Kalieda have also received some air time on beat 106s’ Jim Gellatly show in April of this year.
