About A Hero's Demise
Okay, so this is my first ever layout that I have made. I followed a tutorial for a Div Layout over at
Celestial Star. I made quite a few different ones and I figured since I'm a beginner a white one with no table works best for my extence of knowledge. At least until I get more into making layouts and stuff.
Anyway the picture is Joachim Armster from Castlevania: Lament of Innocence. He was my favorite character in that game and pratically any other Castlevania game so I decided to make a layout with him. I found the picture from... eh, I don't remember exactly where from so you'll have to forgive me. I didn't want to mess with the picture too much so I left it as it was. I only changed the color levels so it could be darker and such. It looks nice left as is. Again, when I get more knowledge into making layouts I will probably make another one with darker colors. Blacks and dark blues.
About Me
Okay, so I am 20 years old and currently attending Collins College in Tempe, Arizona for game art. I was born in San Antonio so I am pretty much loyal to that part of the country, though I must admit that yes, Arizona is pretty if not too hot. But then again so was San Antonio. I am currently teaching myself on how to make icons, wallpapers, and now web page layouts and I haven't even taken my classes yet. For my icons I just started out with playing around with colors then moved on to texture and brushes. I read a few tutorials and I think I am decent enough in making them, though they aren't too special yet. Hopefully I'll get better soon. I started making wallpapers soon after my icons. Layouts it took me a little while longer to really get the hang of it.
I enjoy watching anime and playing games. Oh do I love that stuff. My game collection isn't too big, maybe just over 20 games or so, but then again I do have a lot of EMU games on my computer, so does that count? As for anime my favorite genre is yaoi. Heh, that is all I have to say. Um... yeah, I think that is all.
