Rah I have two theories on this pet’s name. The first is that it originates from “Rah” as in “Rah, rah sis-boom-bah!”. This would signify that the Rah is quite the spirited little animal. My other, not so well qualified, theory is that it is how an especially dignified person would pronounce part of “Rabbit”, i.e. “Rah-bit” Also, as pointed out to me by Serjery, the Rah could get it's name from "Watership Down". *Doesn't know how this escaped her notice, as "Watership Down" is one of her favorite books of all time, plus she has a gallery pet named Frith*
