Gremlick can possibly be derived from "Gremlin" and the suffix "-ick" means little. So we have "Little Gremlin". While this is a good extrapolation, we still have one little problem. There is no evidence that the Gremlick has any gremlin-like tendancies at all. Another theory sent in by samba_master is that, by switching the "i" and the "e" you get "Grimleck". "Grim" is something forboding, while "leck"is...erm..a city in Germany?
