Sango! Are you alright??

Huh??Miroku ran over to where Sango lay. She was puzzled and bewildered.

Are you alright??

Ya! I'm fine, I'm fine! She shook her head as to shake her out her puzzled ness and bewildered ness.

What happened??

I don't know I-I tripped I think on that rock!

Te glowing one??Miroku stared at the rock and looked at her still kneeling beside her holding her hand. They stared at each other and looked back at the rock. Miroku helped Sango up and they both ran over to the rock.

Kgome! What's worng?

Huh? Oh nothing, nothing at all....

Kagome quickly wiped her eyes with the back of her hand and sniffled.

Something is going on with Kagome!

Inuyasha turned around and looked at her and saw her quickly turn her head. All he saw of her was her black shiny hair.

Sit! I wanted to see what was wrong with her! Something has to be wrong with her if she turned away when I was looking at her she never turns her head when I turn around and see her she always smiles at me in her lovable way! I have to figure out what though!

Why does it glow so much?

I don't know but it is hard on the eyeys! Answered Miroku, Sango was looking at him and didn't notice how bright it really was. She looked directly at it and stumbled back and squinted.

Holy crap that is bright! she responded.

Sango??/

Why were you staring at me the whole time?? Miroku was so curious.

Huh? Sango's mouth dropped open as she started stuttering thinking to say something but not saying it.

Um-Uh-Uh You seem umm I was-I was?? *GULP*

I've go to find a bush to go to the wash- uh to look at!

Why did he have to ask her that! Why did she have to stare at him in the first place! Wait! Was she thinking about this in the first place! OMG! Was she blushing! No! She wasn't! She couldn't! She just had to go find Kagome! FAST!

Um Kagome! Kagome!

PANT, PANT SANGO! SANGO WHERE ARE YOU *sniff*! SANGO HELP ME PLEASE!

Kagome was running so hard and was so tired she just wanted to get away from Inuyasha! She dropped on the muddy ground for it had started rainging and lay there crying.

Sango! she whispered.

I need you now more than anything in the world. I need you more than I love Inuyasha right now!

She was so tired and she was crying. She was just breathing so hard and she need someone anybody! Except Inuyasha!

She breathed silently the words of the person she needed right now there on that muddy ground in the rain she needed?

Sango?

Chapter 3

Wait! Why am I crying?!Kagome raised her head and looked around.

I'm not going to get hurt Inuyasha is! Why does he love Kikyou?! After all she has done! Tried to kill him and me! That stupid fool! Hmmph! He can be so dumb at times!?Kagome stood up and brushed herself off. She heard footsteps and the pitter patter of little paws, she knew who it was.

"Sango, Shippou, Kirara!"

"KAGOME!" Shippou ran over to Kagome and hugged her then jumped onto her shoulder.

"Where were you Kagome? I went to find you and I couldn't!" Sango told Kagome, "and why are you all muddy?"

"It's a Long Story."

"We have time!" Shippou  exclaimed, "and brought rice!"

"And we can probably find some herbs around here somewhere!" Sango said, "You can tell us the whole thing!"

"Kagome!" Inuyasha was running to find Kagome.

KLABLOMP!

"Hey watch were you are going you stupid human!" Inuyasha growled

"Ah-Hum ya stupid human hey Inuyasha.."

Inuyasha stood up and looked over. Oh oops that would be Miroku.

"Sorry, but I wasn't looking at who I was talking to." he said. His mind is occupied on something else, Miroku thought.

"So what ya doing?" Miroku asked the still looking around Inuyasha. No answer.

"What ya doing?" Miroku asked again. Still no answer.

"INUYASHA WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!" Miroku shouted for the third time. Still no answer.

He's hopeless! Miroku thought. He grabbed Inuyasha by the collar and walked to find Sango.

"Yum! Great rice Shippou!" Kagome said.

"Hmph," Shippou managed to say through a mouthful of rice.

"So, that was a very interesting story you told us Kagome." Sango mixed her rice around in her bowl.

"Yea  know! I mean I was so dumb he's going to get hurt! He can be really dumb at times!" Kagome said looking down and her skirt.

"Kagome look it's Inuyasha's fault if he loves Kikyou not yours! Ok? Ok!" Sango says staring at the top of Kagome's head since she didn't look up at the talking Sango.

Just then..

KLABLOMP!

"MIROKU!" Inuyasha shouted on the ground.

"Watch were you are walking! Stupid Monk!" Inuyasha smirked at Miroku.

It's not my fault you were in such a rush to find Kagome." Miroku crossed his arms and smirked at Inuyasha. Inuyasha opened his eyes and turned to Miroku. Clutching his fist.

What! it's not my fault! Either I had to find out was wrong with her she was-"

"Inuyasha?" Kagome said suddenly and quietly.

"IT!"

Inuyasha flew to the ground and popped back up.

I just went through this! Besides, what was that for anyways?"

Kagome suddenly clutched onto Inuyasha.

"Im so sorry I ran off! And that I didn't answer to anything you said, I remembered what you said to Kikyou that night when-when you had the flashback of her killing you!"

"Its okay Kagome, I'm not mad at you!"

"Ah, what a happy ending!" Sango said.

"Hey, Come on Kagome! Hurry up we¡¯re going to be late," Sango shouted from outside. "Yeah, just a sec! Can¡¯t I just be perfect for once?" I called back annoyed. It was the first day of school and she wanted to get a good first impression. Her best friend Sango and herself were going to this new private school where rich kids went. I don¡¯t want to look like a peasant so I¡¯ll be in one of my best outfits she thought to herself. She smiled knowing her hair and clothes looked perfect together. She wore a white top with blue trimmings and a blue mini skirt. Kagome looked over at her pile of three suitcases and a trunk. *sweat drop* "ok?.this might be a problem¡¦¡¦?

"Come on Inuyasha, get going! Don¡¯t make me have to come up there!" Sesshomaru shouted from the bottom of the stairs. I¡¯m not going to be late because of my stupid brother he thought as he growled. Man, why did I have to fail five years of school and be in the same grade as my brother? Damit. He was wearing a white muscle shirt with a red skull on it and baggy pants. The doorbell rings and Sesshomaru goes to answer it. "Oh, it¡¯s just you," he said glaring at the human in the doorway. "Well that¡¯s no way to welcome a guest into your home," Miroku joked as he stepped inside. He was wearing a blue T-shirt with black sleeves and jeans. "Your no guest. You¡¯ve been here practically all summer," Sesshomaru said with a growl. " I don¡¯t even know why Inuyasha likes you human." "Well it could be the fact that Inuyasha is half human or maybe I¡¯m just a likable guy," Miroku replies with a wide grin on his face. "Yeah, the way you grope girls I doubt it." "Yeah whatever. Is Inuyasha ready yet?" A door upstairs bursts open and Inuyasha sprints over to the stairs holding all his bags. "I hardly think so," Sesshomaru answers as they both watch. Inuyasha jumps onto the banister and slides down to the other two. He falls at the weight of the bags. *sweat drops from both* "Hey Mioku," Inuyasha says panting as he gets up and brushes himself off. Inuyasha is wearing a red muscle shirt with the word ?FEH!?across it in white letters. "What the Hell took you so long?!?" Sesshomaru shouts at him. "What do you care you bitch?!?!" Inuyasha shouts back. " I care because this I¡¯m not failing another year of school," Sesshomaru says glaring at Inuyasha. "Well it¡¯s not my fault you failed 5 grades in the first place," Inuyasha shouted again glaring back at Sesshomaru. "Ok, ok lets not have the sibbling rivalry until we accually get to school kids," Miroku complained putting his arms between them to brake them up. "Yeah, whatever stupid human," Sesshomaru growled as he headed toward the door. "Stupid piece of shit?" Inuyasha mumbles as they follow Sesshomaru out of their Mansion.

"Ok, when you said you were packing a few extra things I didn¡¯t think it would be your whole closet!" Sango complained as they raced on the highway in Sango¡¯s blue convertible. She was wearing something she thought was nice too. A pink top with white letters across it saying ¡®Slap me and I¡¯ll punch you Back?and a cute pair of white shorts. "Hey! It¡¯s not my whole closet ok," Kagome said with a little smile. "Well it sure seems like it," Sango replied also smiling. "We are late because you had to hull all your stuff down you realize." Kagome shrugged her shoulders. "I didn¡¯t want to forget anything?" She started but was interupted with an "Obviously" from Sango. Kagome gave back a weak smile and there was silence until they reached a tall black gate. "Wow," Kagome whispered softly as they slowly slid in. "Good Morning ladies. I do believe you are late! Shall I park your car for you?" said a man wearing a very expensive looking suit. "Yeah, take it easy on her though, she¡¯s my step dad¡¯s," she replied tossing him the keys and quickly hopping out. "Yes madam," he said in that proper voice that made Kagome shiver as she followed Sango up some stone steps to the giant oak door. "Okay, we have to get to the auditorium and?. "Sango?." "What?!?" Where do you think the auditorium is," Kagome said as she looked at the seven hallways in front of them. "Oh boy¡¦¡¦?

"Come on Smithers, can¡¯t you drive any faster? You are paid for this you know!" Inuyasha complains to the driver from the backseat of their black limmo. "Sorry Sir, but if I drive any faster and we get a speeding ticket, that will slow us down even more."

"Feh! Whatever you say Smithers," Inuyasha says leaning back against his seat. Ten minutes later, the limmo slide through the tall black gates and to the giant stone steps to the oak doors. This is the only school that will accept demons Inuyasha thought as he looked up the tall steps. Inuyasha and his brother Sesshomaru had been going to this school for their whole life since their father was killed. It was like a second home. "Come on, if we¡¯re late for the assembly we¡¯re gonna be in serious shit," Sesshomaru said jumping out of the car and bounding up the steps. "Smithers, park the car and make sure our luggage is delivered to out rooms," Inuyasha commanded as he and Miroku followd Sesshomaru up the steps. They ran through the oak door and past two girls that looked the same age as them and to one of the long hallways. We just might make it Inuyasha thought as they moved farther down the hall.

"Oh, boy¡¦¡¦.."Sango thought looking down a couple of hallways. "Great, now what?" Kagome asked also looking around. Just then, the door opened and a boy that looked like a demon and too old to be in this school burst in. "?if we¡¯re late for the assembly we¡¯re gonna be in serious shit," He finished yelling at someone outside. Two more guys rushed in. One was a normal human but the other was different somehow. What? Kagome thought. He looks kinda like the other guy but is younger and he has ears. Ears? He must be a demon or something. They rushed down a hall to the right. "Hey Sango, lets follow them." "Exactly what I was thinking," Sango replied and they sprinted over to the hallway the others went down and followed them to double doors with the words auditorium above them. "Here it is," they both said smiling. They opened the doors.

Sesshomaru came to the double doors with the word auditorium above it. Inuyasha and miroku had caught up and were standing with him. "Damit, we¡¯re late," Sesshomaru said listening to the door. He could hear the principal blabbing on and on. Inuyasha grabbed the handle. "Well even if we are, we still need to get in," he snapped. Inuyasha slowly turned the handle and the three of them squeezed in the door. The principal didn¡¯t notice them and kept blabbing on and on. There was five seats left in the back and they crept over to them. They sat down and tried listening even though it was hard. Then the door opened again.

Kagome slowly opened the door. The principal was up on the stage talking about proper behavior and other boring stuff. "Look Kagome," Sango said pointing towards the back. "There were two extra seats." Kagome nodded. They slowly walked towards the back and sat down. Kagome looked at the person beside her. It was the boy that they had followed! Hey, he has amber demon eyes. I didn¡¯t see that before she thought but turned away before he could see her staring. There was something about him¡¦¡¦.she didn¡¯t know what though.

Two people had come and sat down in the empty seats. Inuyasha looked sideways at them. It was one of the girls he had passed in the main hallway. He looked back at the principal and pretended to be listening. Damit, when will she shut up? He saw something out of the corner of his eye. His left eye darted toward it and saw the girl turning away suddenly. Had she been looking at him? "Hey Kagome, how much longer do you think this is going to be?" whispered the girl beside Kagome. Kagome is her name then he thought. Humph. She¡¯s looking at me again. Looking at my eyes. What is with her? "Hope this pig shuts up soon. It¡¯s nerve racking isn¡¯t it Inuyasha?" Miroku whispered from beside him. "Yeah, if she doesn¡¯t shut up soon I¡¯ll make her shut up Miroku," Inuyasha said with a mean grin.

"¡¦¡¦isn¡¯t it Inuyasha?" said a guy beside Inuyasha. Inuyasha and Miroku. Inuyasha is a nice name thought Kagome. She smiled to herself. What? No! I¡¯m blushing! Do I like Inuyasha?? No, I can¡¯t. These thoughts raced through her head and she shook it her head and her hair went flying up and landed softly on her shoulder. " ?.and so you will all be room mates in a group of four boys and four girls. It¡¯s double rooms. The girls will be in one and the boys in another. A door will attach the rooms and locked at night," the principal said glaring at the boys in the crowd. "Dammit!" said Miroku slapping his forehead. "Your roommates will be posted outside the office and school will begin tomorrow after breakfast when you get your classes. Bed curfew is 11:00 and students up after that will be punished. If you are not in your classes when you are supposed to you will also be punished. Ok students, you are dismissed." Everyone got up and started towards the exit. Inuyasha, Miroku, Sesshomaru, Sango, and Kagome were the first people out because they were at the back and ran to the office.

Sango was the best at track so ran ahead of Kagome. "Hey Sango, can you see where we are on the list?" Kagome called to her friend. Sango stopped and skimmed down the list. She screamed and started jumping up and down. "KAGOME!!!! WE¡¯RE ROOMIES!!!!!!" She shouted and ran over to Kagome. They were both screaming but calmed down as more people came. "Who else is in our room?" Kagome said looking at the list. "Lets see?"said Sango also looking at it. "Umm? Room # 118 Kikyou, Kagome, Sango, Rin, Sesshomaru, Miroku, Koga, Inuyasha," Sango read from the list. "Hey we're with those guys we followed this morning," Kagome said as they backed away from the list to make room for more people. "That's a strange coincidence. I wonder who Kikyou and Rin are," Sango said looking around. "Oh well, lets go find our room," Kagome said with a big grin on her face. Sango grinned back and they walked towards the staircase.

"Hey Inuyasha, race you to the list," Miroku yelled running ahead. "Your on Miroku," Inuyasha shouted back as he jumped over peoples heads. They were running side by side and reached the list at the same time. "It¡¯s a tie," said Miroku panting. "Hardly, if you didn¡¯t get a head start I would have beaten you by a mile," Inuyasha said back. They were both arguing until Sesshomaru walked up and glared at both of them. "What are you looking at?" Inuyasha snapped. "I¡¯m looking at a couple of children arguing about nothing at all," Sesshomaru sneered. "Lets check out the list now," Miroku cut in before Inuyasha could have a come back. "Yeah, whatever," Inuyasha said glaring over his shoulder at his older brother. They shoved through the crowd to the list. "Lets see?.hey we¡¯re in the same room," Miroku said beaming. "And we also have¡¦¡¦.Sesshomaru, Koga, Sango, Kikyou, Kagome and Rin," said Inuyasha staring at the list. "Great," Sesshomaru groaned from behind them. "I¡¯m stuck with you two idiots!" He stalked off through the crowd. "Well, there¡¯s nothing to do here. Lets go see our room," Miroku said and started walking towards the stairs. "Is it the room you want to see or the female roommates," Inuyasha said knowing his friends mind too well. Miroku smiled sheepishly and the both walked up the stairs.

Chapter 2: Meeting of the roommates

"Hey Inuyasha, aren't you gonna change your clothes for dinner?" Miroku asked when he came out of the shower. Miroku was wearing white baggy pants and a white T-shirt. "Why? This is my favorite shirt," Inuyasha replied pointing to the word FEH? "That's exactly why," Miroku said putting his hand on his forehead. "You wear that shirt every day and it's filthy." "It is not! It's perfectly clean," Inuyasha snapped from his bed. "Your never gonna have a girl Inuyasha," He said shaking his head. "And you've got one?" Inuyasha smirked. Miroku frowned and turned away not liking where this conversation was going. Inuyasha grinned knowing he was the victor and therefore was not changing clothes just to have a meal. Who ever thought up manners was gonna get it,  Inuyasha thought putting his hand into a fist.

"I'm ready," Sango said walking out of the door. Instead of the sporty ponytail she had in this morning, her hair was out and long. And it was very pretty as usual. Kagome sighed wishing she had been born with better hair. Kagome smiled anyways because she would not be rude to her best friend. "Lets get going then," Kagome answered getting up from the bed. There was a loud click and the door opened. A girl with messy hair and a brown smudge across her cheek shyly stepped in and a very fat women with her hand on the girl's shoulder came behind her. "Hello, I'm Mrs. Bellum the school councilor and I have brought Rin to join you girls in this room," Mrs. Bellum said and let go of Rin's shoulder. "Make yourself comfortable Rin," She said smiling and left closing the door. Rin stood for a few moments staring at everyone in the room. Rin was wearing a pair of gray shorts and a dirty orange T-shirt. She was wearing socks but had no shoes. "H-hi Rin," Kagome managed to choke out. Rin looked at Kagome then looked away and walked across the room to the empty bed setting her things down. Kagome looked at Sango confused and Sango shrugged her shoulders. Kikyou, who had been quiet while the teacher was here, burst out into a screech. "Ugh!!! Why did I have to be stuck with you? Oh my god! This can't be happening! I'm going to get to the bottom of this!" Rin flinched at Kikyou's loud and angry voice but stayed put and just stared at the wall. "Hey, what's the big idea?" Sango snapped angered at how rude Kikyou was being to Rin. "I'll tell you what! My father payed big money for me to have a perfect school year and I am stuck in a room with her," Kikyou shouted pointing at Rin. "What are you talking about??" Sango asked enraged. "There is nothing wrong with Rin" "Shhhh," Kagome's whisper interrupted. "Outside she said pulling both of them outside the door. "What is wrong with Rin?!?!?!" Sango shouted as soon as they were in the hallway. "You really want to know?" Kikyou's voice got deep and husky. Kagome gulped. Kikyou was really starting to freak her out. "You don't know who Rin is do you? Rin is a poor girl who the school took in when her whole family got raped to death right in front of her," Kikyou said her eyes full of hate. "Her whole family raped right in front of her!" Kagome gasped. "Yeah," Kikyou continued the hate not leaving her eyes. "And she has been a mute ever since. She is a girl with a curse. Bad luck! I'm NOT going to be her roommate! You will see!" Kikyou shouted as she stormed off to the stairs. Kagome was speechless. Was Kikyou telling the truth? "S-s-sango," Kagome said turning to her friend. "Do you think that's all true?" Sango frowned for a second in deep thought. "Partly," Sango said watching Kikyou disappear. "The part about her family being killed might be true, but Rin is not cursed," Sango said taking pity on the little girl. She knew what it was like to lose your family, though she had not seen it with her own eyes. Sango sighed knowing what pain Rin had gone through. "Lets forget about is," Sango said as she started to walk to the stairs. "Yeah," Kagome replied as she walked beside Sango. "Lets go eat."

"Come on! I'm starving!" Inuyasha shouted waiting impatiently for his friend to hurry up. "Yeah, yeah, I'm right here you don't have to yell," Miroku replied rushing through the door. "I do have to yell cause I'm having a hunger issue," Inuyasha protested as they ran to the stairs. I should have gone when Sesshomaru and that snobby Koga went Inuyasha thought. A great hunger wave hit him and he clutched his stomach as he ran faster. They reached the stairs and halfway down bumped into the girls. "Hi, I think we're roommates," Sango said as all four of them stopped. "I do think we are," Miroku replied straitening his back and holding his head tall. "I뭢 Sango and this is my friend Kagome," Sango said gesturing to each of them as she did. "I'm Miroku and this is.." "Hungry!!" Inuyasha gasped clutching his stomach. Why did I have to miss breakfast Inuyasha thought as the hunger pains got worse. *sweat drop from all* "Umm.Yeah, Hungry was the other choice of name for him but they called him Inuyasha instead" Miroku joked with a wide grin.                                                                                                 Sango and Kagome giggled and Miroku got a hit on the head leaving a big bump. " I think we better get going," Sango said looking at Inuyasha who was clutching his stomach again. "Good plan," Miroku said as they hurried down the stairs and ran down the hall until the reached double-doors with a gold plate above it saying Mess Hall A few more students came behind them so they opened the door and walked inside. It was a big room with large windows and silk drapes. The ceiling was a pattern of clouds and stars and the floor was marble. There was a billion of wooden round tables all lining the walls and in the middle. Each table had a number on it. "Oh shit," Inuyasha groaned glaring at the numbers. "We have assigned seats!" Students were filing in and trying to find out where their seats were. Lots of them were complaining like Inuyasha was and others were just surprised or confused. The group searched for a few minutes and finally spotted their table. "Dammit, it's bad enough I have to be in the same room with you people but I have to sit with you too," Koga growled from the seat he was in. "Oh, Shut-up Koga," Inuyasha moaned clutching his stomach. "Inuyasha, your too hungry to fight so drop it," Miroku said putting his hand on his forehead. Inuyasha tried to snap back but shut his mouth and frowned. "You better sit down before you collapse," Kagome said shaking her head. "Look," Sango said pointing at the table where Koga, Sesshomaru, and Kikyou sat. "Name plates?" Sango asked raising her eyebrows. *sweat drop* "Stupid staff." Inuyasha mumbled under his breath. "We really have no freedom at this school," Kagome complained. "Oh well, theres nothing we can do about it," Sango said walking over to her seat. They sat in this order: Kagome was between Inuyasha and Koga, Koga was between Kagome and Sango, Sango between Koga and Miroku, Miroku between Sango and Kikyou, Kikyou between Miroku and Sesshomaru, Sesshomaru between Kikyou and Rin, and Rin between Sesshomaru and Inuyasha. "No!" Kagome complained. "We're not sitting together Sango," She said looking at her friend. "Better get used to it. It's going to be like this all year," Miroku cut in before Sango could say anything. Everyone sat down and Rin also came in and sat in her seat. There were a few moments of silence as everyone looked around at around at the people sitting at the table. Lots of other tables were chatting and bursting with laughter but they still looked at each other. Finally Kagome couldn't take it. "Why is everyone so quiet? There has to be something we could talk about," She said firmly. "Well," Miroku began. "I don't think everyone knows everyone here," He said gesturing around the table. "I'm Sango," Sango said smiling and lifting up her hand. " And I'm Kagome," Kagome said also smiling. This is better she thought. " It's Sango's and my first year here," She said. Kikyou snickered but only Sesshomaru could hear. Sesshomaru raised his eyebrows. There was something familiar about her but he couldn't figure it out. "I'm Koga," Koga said gruffly looking up in the air at something. "And that's all you need to know," He snapped when they looked at him wanting to hear more. Kagome flinched at his loud voice. Geez, this guy must have problems she thought. "I'm Kik-" Kikyou began but a loud bell rang and tall men in expensive suits rushed out some doors with large platters above their heads. Inuyasha's ears wiggled and his head popped up. "Finally!" He shouted and jumped up. Inuyasha ran towards a man coming towards them. The man saw Inuyasha running and started to panic. He sprinted sideways past another table but Inuyasha kept running after him. Taking a sharp turn the man dashed to the table and dropped the platter with a whole chicken on it then ran back out the doors. "Stupid," Sesshomaru muttered and jumped up and caught his brother before he dived into the food. "Let go Sesshomaru!" Inuyasha shouted trying to struggle free. "You know how embarrassing you are?" Sesshomaru growled. "Shut the Hell up and let go of me! I'm dying!" Inuyasha said pulling harder a gritting his teeth. The whole hall was quiet and everyone stared at them in horror. Oh my god Kagome thought putting her hand over her mouth. Inuyasha might have even bigger issues than Koga she thought sighing. Sesshomau lifted up his brother and pushes him down into his seat and held him there. " After this you're dead," Sesshomaru whispered with a dark glare on his face. Whispers filled the Hall. Soon there was chatting and it was like it never happened. Sesshomaru losened his grip and sat back down as grumpy as ever. Inuyasha looked sick as a groan came from his stomach. Suddenly Inuyasha was digging through everything with his bare hands and tiny pieces of skin flew up in the air. *sweat drop from all* "Umm?.server," Miroku said lifting his hand at the nearest waiter. "I think we might need another platter." *Sigh from whole group* "Yeah, this is going to be a long year," Sango said putting her finger on her forehead.
