Well I went on August. 29th only, the Saturday and as normal... it always seems to be slightly disorganized. Something happened downstairs from what I heard and then I heard there was so many people in the convention center that they had sold out too many tickets or something.
I had to wait out in the line up at first, until things were under control, this year I got advanced tickets and it really paid off in the end. I got to meet up with each of the actors I really wanted to meet, Beau Bridges was first. I got lucky, he had finished with an interview and I was first in line, then I met Thomas Dekker and finally Linda Hamilton. http://www.freewebs.com/kagome05/inpersonsuccesses.htm
Wanted to meet Bruce Campbell but by the time I got to his table, there was notices saying 'Autograph Tickets Sold Out', he was only charging $30, I paid $40 for Linda and Beau. Thomas was free. I met a few other Stargate cosplayers, I only got two pictures though, there was to be something for Stargate at 1 but I couldn't make it -_-
I hope everyone who went had a great weekend, if you ask me they should expand, more fans come every year. I met two girls that were really nice, they took some great pics of Thomas Dekker (above) and I gave the girl my email, I hope she sends me them.
AND
I got an autograph success in the mail, it is from an actor and it took some studying the picture to realize who it was. Gosh, off screen, Matthew Lewis has certainly grown up. I received a personalized autograph in the mail from Audrey Tautou, she played Sophie in The DaVinci Code along side Tom Hanks. I sent only a 5x7 photo and a letter.
It feels like it has been so long sinse I have recieved anything personalized through the mail... probably has been but I am very happy with this.
I have many more updates but I posted them on my central website... I just need to figure out how to make it so the recent blog is the entry first seen when goign to the site. So far it is the first one I ever posted that does it.
