My name is J. Westlake, I'm eighteen years old, and I live in the U.K. I am a writer of horror and dark science fiction. Welcome to my website.
My fiction is usually in the realms of horror and sci-fi, and many of my stories are a mixture of both. The horror element usually dominates though; the sci-fi is more backdrop than anything else. I've been told that my short stories sometimes have a kind of 'Twilight Zone' feel to them. I've written around twenty short stories at the moment, most of which are currently winging their way around the independent markets.
As well as writing horror and sci-fi, I also enjoy reading that kind of fiction - Bradbury, King, Matheson and Gaiman line my bookshelf, along with Laymon, Dean Koontz, and Norman Partridge.
