A SECOND member of a group of thugs spared a jail sentence for beating up tragic father Michael Williams has appeared in court for another offence of violence.
Jamie Adam Kendra, 23, was today serving 20 months for that violence and also for attacks on a mother at her home as her young children watched.
York magistrates also imposed an antisocial behaviour order on him in a bid to stop him being violent in future.
Prosecutor Ann Darwin said that during the last attack on the mother, the children's screaming could be heard a "considerable" distance away, where an off-duty probation officer was so alarmed, she got on her bicycle to hurry to their rescue.
She had to use all her professional skills to cope with Kendra as he turned on her with abuse.
York magistrates banned Kendra from contacting the mother or visiting her address under a two-year antisocial behaviour order - which will start the day he is released.
In a three-and-a-half hour hearing, senior magistrate Helen McBride told Kendra about the attacks on the mother: "The offences were committed in the presence of children under five which caused them distress. The offences were prolonged and violent."
She and her colleagues jailed him for 20 weeks. Kendra, of Buttermere Drive, Rawcliffe, York, pleaded guilty to three charges of assaulting the woman, who cannot be named to protect the children, and a public order offence. All were committed in August and September, before Kendra was given a community order for the gang attack on Mr Williams in February, 2006.
Mr Williams, of Chapelfields, survived the attack, but was killed when Steven Stone, one of Kendra's co-accused in the gang attack, returned to his house later that evening.
On February 16, a judge at York Crown Court revoked Kendra's community order, changed it to six months and added nine months for a pub affray in which the mother approached Kendra.
They had an argument which ended up with a table being upturned and Kendra being thrown out of the pub. He will finish that sentence before starting the magistrates'.
Kendra's solicitor, Kevin Blount, said his client knew he had a problem with alcohol and had voluntarily sought medical help since the September sentencing. The strain of the court case involving the violence on Mr Williams had driven him and his mother, who is close to Stone, to drink heavily.

As a child, Kendra had seen his father be violent to his mother and had been bullied at school when she formed a new and better relationship. He had not offended since the violence last September.( Cos he is an idiot and bad criminal!! hahahahahaha)
Kendra joins fellow gang member Daniel James Smith, 21, of Barkston Avenue, Chapelfields, behind bars. Smith was jailed for 12 months for theft and affray in Costcutters' Chapelfields branch last month, plus a further six months after his community order for the attack on Mr Williams was revoked.

Those were the words of grieving Tara Gondzik, whose partner, Michael Williams, 33, was killed in a street attack, as she demanded his killer be banned from York.
Steven Stone, formerly of Chapelfields Road, was jailed for three years last year for manslaughter and affray. His victim was punched to the ground and he died days later. Stone, 27, is expected to be released in September.
Now Tara and Mr Williams' family - backed by York MP Hugh Bayley - want Stone banned from the city.

That was the demand today from the grieving family of manslaughter victim Michael Williams, as they psyche themselves up for his killer's release.
Speaking just over a year after Michael died from injuries inflicted by Steven Stone in a street attack in Chapelfields, York, they said they wanted to avoid the trauma of meeting Stone in the street when he is freed from prison.
"If they can ban little idiots from the city with ASBOs for being a nuisance, then surely we can have him banned for being a killer?" said on of Michael's three brothers, Paul.

"We feel so short changed by the system that we feel this is the least it can do for us."
Michael's partner, Tara Gondzik, told of her fears that their children, Shannon, four, and Lennon, three, might come across Stone if he was released back into the community.
"I just don't want them meeting their daddy's killer in the street," she said.
The family immediately won backing from York MP Hugh Bayley, who said he would write to the Probation Service to ask for restrictions on Stone's licence to keep him out of their neighbourhood on his release.
He said he was concerned about the impact on relatives if Stone was allowed to return to live in the area.

Michael's family campaigned afterwards for the sentence to be extended, with support from Mr Bayley, but lost their battle after the Attorney General withdrew a decision to refer the case to the Court of Appeal.
Paul, who expects Stone to be released from prison by the end of September, said the family was now determined to avoid the prospect of meeting him in the street following his release. "I am especially concerned for my mother, Jackie, who has barely felt able to leave her home since Michael died," he said.
"It has made her almost agoraphobic, and if there is a possibility of her coming face to face with him in the street, it will stop her going out of the home altogether."
He said members of the family were now putting together a statement in a bid to get him banned from York under the terms of his licence, and were seeking support from Mr Bayley and local councillors.
He said the family had decided on the campaign after laying flowers at Michael's graveside at York Cemetery last week on the first anniversary of his death. A Home Office spokesman confirmed that, while unable to comment on this particular case, people jailed for more than 12 months for offences such as manslaughter were released from prison on licence - and it was possible for the licence to dictate where they should live.
He said decisions on licence terms would be taken by the probation service in liaison with police and prison service, and after consulting with the victim's family under terms laid down under the Victims' Charter.
A North Yorkshire Probation Service spokesman was unavailable for comment

This sub human known as DANIEL SMITH, appeared before the Leeds Crown Court in september charged with affray on Mike and like the rest of his slimy counterparts came away with a pathetically weak community service order only to go into a shop in Chapelfields wielding a golf club at a terrified shop assistant whilst trying to rob some alcohol( no suprise there).JFM told the authorities that this would happen and YET AGAIN its been proved to be true as with the other lowlife attacker Kendra,who it is rumoured,is in trouble agin but that has yet to substantiated.Smith was given a prison sentence for that golf club offence and given sentence ,albeit so small its laughable,for his part in the attack on Mike but at least the disgusting waste of space is removed from the streets of York-two down- two to go!!! They are that stupid it wont be long!!

HE was spared jail after taking part in a fatal street attack that deprived four children of their father.
A judge said he wanted to give Daniel James Smith - part of a gang of thugs who beat up Michael Williams - the opportunity to start behaving like a decent human being by giving him a community sentence.
But within weeks, Smith went into a store, threw boxes around and threatened a cashier with a golf club. He pleaded guilty to theft and unlawful violence.
Today he was finally behind bars after Judge Peter Benson told him he had been very fortunate to receive a community order last time around. He jailed him for 18 months.
Mr Williams's brother, Paul, said that Smith should have been sent to prison last time.
"This is about time," he said. "He should have been locked up for a long, long time last September.
"It isn't any surprise he was back in court. It was only a matter of time. He's a repeat offender.
"Everyone knew it would happen. He isn't going to change. He's a lost cause."
Smith was one of four thugs who attacked Mr Williams in Chapelfields last February. Mr Williams died in hospital, five days after suffering severe head injuries. His killer, Steven Stone, was jailed for three years after admitting manslaughter and affray.
Smith, who also punched Mr Williams, was one of three accomplices who egged Stone on. They were all ordered to carry out unpaid work last September after admitting affray.
York Crown Court heard this week how in October, Smith, 21, of Barkston Avenue, Chapelfields, threw chocolate boxes at the Costcutters store in Bramham Road, Chapelfields, and threatened a cashier with a golf club.
Judge Benson changed the sentence for the previous affray to six months' imprisonment, and added 12 months for the Costcutters incident.
The court heard that Smith's accomplice in the shop violence, Lee Patrick Atkinson, 23, of Teal Drive, Acomb, was later at the centre of an armed police siege at his mother's home when he grabbed a kitchen knife during a drunken rage. Officers had to use a taser gun twice to subdue him.
"That shows the level of lack of control you show when you are in drink," the judge told Atkinson, locking him up for two years. You have a dreadful record for disorder and sometimes violence."
Atkinson pleaded guilty to theft and unlawful violence and also to affray at his mother's home in Marston Crescent, Acomb, a few weeks later.
For Smith, Mark McKone said he had had the golf club for an innocent purpose. He was a heavy drinker, drinking the equivalent of 170 pints a week, though he had managed to reduce this.
For Atkinson, Glenn Parsons said: "He hangs his head in shame. He is very sorry."

FIRST they endured the death of their loved one in a vicious street attack, then they saw his killer jailed for only three years, now grieving relatives of Michael Williams have seen the henchmen walk free.
Michael, a dad-of-four, died in hospital, five days after suffering severe head injuries in a vicious street attack in Chapelfields, York. His killer, Steven Stone, was jailed for three years after admitting manslaughter and affray. His sentence means he could be free by Christmas next year.
Now his three accomplices who egged Stone on, two of whom also attacked Mr Williams, went before a judge and admitted affray, but were handed community sentences.
Instead of serving jail time, Daniel James Smith, 20, and Jamie Adam Kendra, 22, of Chapelfields and Dean Walker, 23, of Acomb, will instead carry out unpaid work to repay their crimes.
Today, Michael's brother, Paul, said: "For what they've done, they should be jailed. They were a contributing factor to the death of my brother."

That was the damning verdict of a grieving brother after three thugs appeared in court for their part in a vicious street attack on a York dad-of-four - but avoided prison.

Today, Mr Williams' family told of their disgust that the three had each escaped with community work.
His brother, Paul, said: "It's just another limp wristed effort by the authorities. It's another example of criminals being able to do what they want and get away with it.
"For what they've done, they should be jailed. In my eyes, they were a contributing factor to the death of my brother."
Mr Williams died in hospital in February, five days after suffering severe head injuries in a street attack in Chapelfields.
His killer, Steven Stone, was jailed for three years after admitting manslaughter and affray.
Leeds Crown Court heard how Kendra suggested they go and visit Mr Williams. They barged into the living room and after getting him outside, Stone punched Mr Williams without warning and knocked him to the ground. Walker and Smith both punched him once.
Although Mr Williams escaped with minor injuries that time, Stone returned later and delivered the punch that killed him.
Judge Kerry MacGill told Smith, Walker and Kendra: "I will give you the opportunity to start behaving like decent human beings. It may be a far fetched and pious hope on my part, but I am going to take the chance."
He gave them all a community order with 18 months' supervision and eight days alcohol re-education, with 100 hours' unpaid work for Walker and Smith and 80 hours for Kendra. - THIS JUDGE HAS A MENTAL ILLNESS- WHAT A CLASSIC LINE!! HE SHOULD BE ON THE STAGE WITH QUOTES LIKE THAT
Kendra and Smith, both of Barkston Avenue, Chapelfields, and Walker, of Chesney Fields, Acomb, all admitted affray.
Mr Williams' mum, Jacky, branded the sentences "rubbish".
"I don't think they've got what they deserved," she said. "My son is dead for ever. They can still walk around the streets. It wasn't one-to-one that afternoon, it was four on one."
Mr Williams' partner, Tara Gondzik, 23, said the couple's two children, Shannon and Lennon, still blew a kiss to their father every night.
"He'll never be forgotten in their eyes - in all of our eyes," she said.
Key victory in family's fight for justice
MICHAEL Williams' family launched a campaign to slap a tougher sentence on killer Steven Stone, after he was jailed for three years.
Their appeal to the attorney general, called "Justice For Mike - The Throw Away the Key Campaign", has just won a key victory after the case won a referral to the Court of Appeal.
Michael's brother Paul said: "It can still be dismissed, but the foot is in the door. Thousands don't get there. I feel quite chuffed that we have caused enough of a ripple. At least someone is taking notice of what's going on."
Their petition for a longer sentence now has more than 2,000 signatures, he said.

Attack man avoids jail again

A MAN has escaped jail for the second time for his part in a gang attack on Chinese students.
Jamie Kendra, 18, and two other people armed themselves with pieces of wood pulled from a fence before taunting and shouting abuse outside their victims' home in Barkston Avenue, Chapelfields, York, it was stated at York Crown Court.
Nigel Wray, prosecuting, said they used racist words and threw wood at the students when they responded to the abuse and came out into their garden.
The court was told that in April last year Kendra, of Barkston Avenue, Chapelfields, was ordered to do 120 hours' community punishment after he admitted committing a racially-aggravated public order offence on August 12, 2000.
But the probation service sent him back to court because he only completed half the order and on ten occasions made excuses not to do the work.
He admitted breaching the court order.
His barrister, Sam Green, said Kendra was a hypochondriac with a lack of willpower who exaggerated the medical problems he did have.
He had a "sensitive stomach" when travelling and found the hour's journey to and from the community punishment workplace difficult.
But after being told he could be jailed for not doing the order, he was now willing to do it and his health was up to it.
Recorder David Dobbin told him to get on with the community punishment, fined him £50, and warned him that if he breached the order again he would face jail.

JFM received a letter from London this week from the Solicitor General and after looking at all the facts in the case,and despite agreeing that the trial judge worked within the confines of the law,and as highlighted here on this site,the LAWS FOR MANSLAUGHTER ARE CHANGING! and there are two outstanding appeals awaiting consideration in London in October-IF they are successful then Stone's sentence will be classed as unduly lenient and he will then be dealt with PROPERLY!!!! Is the tide turning in favour of the victims in Britain???? Only time will tell,but for now- we have made it there and for that - it is victory in itself! Well done to one (especially the thousands of signatures backing the Throw Away The Key Campaign) and all but the fight is not and will not ever be over.The case may still be dismissed but whatever happens, it is in the High Court.MORE NEWS TO FOLLOW!!! Michael Williams was a doting father of two children (Shannon Aged 3 and Lennon aged 2) in a long term relationship,minding his own business,having a drink one Friday afternoon when he was attacked by Steven John Stone,an habitual criminal and drug addict with 29 offences to his name,and three accomplices.If that wasnt enough,Stone returned later that same night,actually going to Michael's own home late at night,for more trouble and in the ensuing melee,landed a punch that sent Mike to the floor,and the resulting wound to the head ended up with Michael dying from Massive Brain Trauma and cerebral haemhorage. Mike had had a lot to drink throughout the day,it was a day off work,so both attacks are made worse by the fact that he was in no condition to defend himself.A gutless and cowardly event portayed by bigger cowards.Stone was infamous in his local area for borrowing money and being a nuisance to those who could not stand up to him and his plastic gangsters.He also had a reputation for robbing and bullying in the area.as Mike lay there dying on the kerbside,Steven John Stone stood over his body and laughed . Yes,you read right,HE LAUGHED.This miserable specimen ran like the coward he is and was arrested fleeing to Leeds- showing his true colours.The courts dismissed the fact that BOTH ACTS WERE PREMEDITATED- STONE AND HIS "BOYS" WENT AROUND THE FIRST TIME TO CAUSE MIKE DAMAGE.HE RETURNED TO DO THE SAME. PREMEDITATION-Mike himself hads had run ins with the law in his youth.A relationship breakdown and being made homeless drove him to drink and he ended up robbing a shop for money with a knife he had been using for fishing.He knew he had done wrong and hung around to be arrested.It was his personal low point in life and something he was ashamed of up til his dying day,and always admitted he should have been sentenced heavier than the three years he got.He hated prison and losing his liberty,losing the right to come and go as he pleased,and as he got older changed completely around.Something todays scrotes wouldnt give a thought.To add insult to injury,as Stone was allowed to play pool and watch Sky TV at the taxpayers expense,Mike was hacked at by two pathologists,kept away from his family and friends for 5 weeks before he could be brought home from Leeds to be buried.Stone's act of malice is just another sad statistic in a rapidly declining nation.Too many times has this happened and too many times have the victims and their families being treated like they are the criminals,while the scum are looked after AT OUR EXPENSE.The sentencing Stone got was just as nasty a wound as his callous laugh over Mikes prone body.3 years.3 lousy pathetic years.Unfortunately,in this weak underbelly of a country,any sentence 5 years or less you get to serve half of so theres a joke to start with,the take off the creatures 8 months on remand(should not be allowed),and the cretinous "good behaviour" rap(the jokes are getting better eh?) ,then this is a belter this one-He gets a year for the earlier attack,which is to run concurrent with his sentence!!!! SO WHAT THE HELL WAS THE POINT IN CHARGING HIM WITH AFFRAY ANYWAY!!!!!! and as a result , the killer will be out on the streets late next year,and as they say leopards dont change their spots and you can guarantee that he will be back to his old ways on release.Prisoners dont change by going to prison- How can they? Theres no deterrent any more. Prisoners mixing with prisoners make more effective criminals.Duvets , heating ,TVs, video,SkyTV,pool,gym, free dental care,personal toilets,- ITS US WIPING THEIR BACKSIDES IS WHAT IT IS! WITH OUR TAX!!! Get back to slopping out and 20 hour lock up.Stop making it cushy.COMMIT A CRIME AGAINST GOVERNEMENT OR IN BIG BUSINESS AND THEY WILL SENTENCE YOU TO YEARS- KILL A HUMAN AND THEY GET NOTHING!! THE LAW MUST CHANGE!! IT HAS TO CHANGE!!!! WHY WILL NOT THE POLITICIANS STAND UP FOR THE DECENT HARD WORKING PEOPLE OF THIS NATION??? WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF SCROTES AND CRIMINALS WHO THINK THEY ARE ABOVE THE LAW.The campaign "Throw Away the Key"is designed to highlight the descrepancies in the law and to bring to the attention the way that the criminal is thought of higher than the victim and highlight the Mike Williams case.Steven John Stone and his kind broke the laws of this land and when they did it,they LOST ALL RIGHTS TO ANYTHING.They took it upon themselves to "big" themselves up,to be a drain on resources,yet thousands of pounds are wasted on defending them when they are obviously guilty as hell.THOUSAND OF POUNDS- we wouldnt mind that being spent if THEY GOT WHAT THEY DESERVED.Justice For Mike introduced Prime Minister Tony Blair to the case and its aims when he visited York in September and from there the Attornery General Lord Goldsmith has summonsed the papers from the case to be sent to London for the JFM appeal.With 1000s of signatures and massive support from all over the world,The JFM campaign to keep Steven John Stone behind bars for a deal longer gathers pace.Next stop the Home Office,John Reid,and then if need be Europe.We have teamed up with other organisations to spread the word and take the government and its cronies head on.
