Where the wolves rule...

War of the Wolves

The image below is the map of the territories where the wolves are [almost] free to go. The important landmarks are numbered, and are explained below as well.

Important Landmarks

1) Kabachu Wolf Pack Campsite

The campsite and dens where the wolves of Kabachu Wolf Pack reside. Although it's an obvious location, it's well protected by thorn barriers, and the entrance is also hidden among the undergrowth.

2) The Cliff of Insanity

The highest point in Kabachu territory, also known to be called "Insanity", serves as a great looking-spot where the Kabachu wolves can easily see the whereabouts of the the Chanali wolves.

3) The Kabachu Marshes

Although herbs and healing berries are plentiful in Kabachu forest, the healers, Snowy and her apprentice Nabe, often go here to collect the freshest and healthiest herbs. They usually use The Fallen Bridge (see number 7) to cross over into The Kabachu Marshes, so they don't have to swim across The River With No Name (see number 4).

4) The River With No Name

The largest and the main water source in all the territories, including the Foothills. Often refered to as "No Name River", the river starts miles beyond the Foothills, running through them, then Kabachu Forest, then Chanali Desert, and ends somewhere beyond Chanali territory. The woves of both packs use the river to bathe when dirty or over-heated.

5) The Hollowed Mountain

The Hollowed Mountain is the training ground where Kabachu wolves go to train their apprentices, and somewhat resembles the Chanali Wolf Pack Campsite. It remains used by only two apprentices though, because the only current ones in Kabachu Wolf Pack so far is full grown, and the healer's apprentice. But it was not completely unused; when Kabachu Wolf Pack were taking in stray wolves, Mudshadow, and the other wolves who had left with her, helped train the wolves where multiple wolves would be in the same battle. Two of the stray wolves were young - the apprentices that used this training ground. The Hollowed Mountain is not used to teach hunting techniques, only battle techniques.

6) The Rodents' Den

The Rodents' Den is a massive pile of broken rocks where mice and voles prefer to shelter. It is quite easy for Kabachu wolves to catch the small prey here in both Snow-Fall and Common-Fire.

7) The Fallen Bridge

The Fallen Bridge is a huge fallen log, once belonging to a tree, that Kabachu wolves almost almays use to cross The River With No Name (see number 4), instead of swimming across it. Only in emergencies will Kabachu wolves swim across the river. The Fallen Bridge is most oftenly used by the healers, Snowy and Nabe.

8) Abandoned Den

An abandoned den that hasn't been touched in years. It sits right on the outskirts of Kabachu territory.

9) Pool of Falling Sky Water

A waterfall coming from The River With No Name (see number 4). It falls from the lower point of The Cliff of Insanity (see number 2). The river above it flows above a cliff that acts as the borderline for the two wolf packs. Atleast until the cliff starts to slant downward until the land is leveled, where more coniferous forest begins. It is considered part of Chanali territory, and herbs are abundant near the bank.

10) Chanali Wolf Pack Campsite

The campsite with well-protected dens and entrances - the home of the Chanali wolves. Although the campsite is in plain sight from every direction, the thorn bushed that surround it both hide the entrances, and act as a good barrier. The large rise in the ground also hides most of it from sight of the Kabachu wolves.

11) The Chanali Marshes

The Chanali Marshes run right along the borderline of the Kabachu Wolf Pack. Unfortunately, Chanali wolves need to swim across The River With No Name (see number 4) to reach it. Just like The Kabachu Marshes (see number 3), herbs are plentiful here.
