SML Tournament

The 2008 Smith Mountain Lake Tournaments have been moved to the James River at Osborne via a majority vote at the Gaston tournament. The weights for the event will be cumulative over the two days, and the entry fees and points rewarded will be doubled.



2009 Schedule

The 2009 Junebug Bass Club schedule is set as the Region 6 VFN Schedule. We will hold our tournaments in conjunction with the federation tournaments to both help gain participation in the region, as well as alleviate hassles we've had this year with participation from boaters. All members will be required to have their partner for the tournament set up before the morning of the tournament, otherwise, be prepared to go home.



2008 Six Man Team and Insurance Info

Please see the message below regarding the 2008 Chapter Team, as well as insurance info for our club.

Bylaw Interpretation

In regards to the 2008 Lake Anna tournament, please note that in any future Junebug Bass Club tournament, bringing more than a five (5) fish limit to the scales will result in a disqualification. **NO EXCEPTIONS** In addition, any culling taking place at the ramp will also result in a disqualification. These rules fall under bylaw number 7 in that "all state and local laws apply", in which it is stated that having more than five fish per man aboard a boat is illegal.



Amended Bylaw

Please Note Bylaw #12 has been amended.




New Bylaws

Note: Bylaw #21 has been added, requiring all nonboaters to pay $30.00 to their boater of the day to help with expenses.

Bylaw #17 was amended. All new members must fish with a current member in at least two events before being voted in; even between seasons.




Lack of Club Meeting Participation...

Those who currently are not, Please try to participate more in the club meetings. Earlier notice will be given in the future to allow more time to schedule.

The 2007 Region 6 Federation Schedule is as follows:

March 17, 2007 Lake Gaston - Americamps 7-3
April 14, 2007 Buggs Island - Rudds Creek 6-3
May 12, 2007 James River - Osborne Landing 6-3
June 9, 2007 Potomac River - Leesylvania 6-3
September 29, 2007 Lake Chesdin - Whippernock 7-3

The best 5 out of the 6 tournaments count toward the final standings. In other words, there is one drop.
