Dog Training at Jumpin' Double Ewe Farm

Noelle has been training sheepdogs since 1988.  Until 2005, Jumpin' Double Ewe Farm was located in Palmer, Alaska.  Noelle and Dan sold market lambs and purebred Shetland sheep, as well as award-winning handspinner fleeces.  Noelle gave many sheep raising and sheepdog handling demonstrations over the years.  Jumpin' Double Ewe Farm was a gathering place for sheepdog training enthusiasts.   Noelle helped many people train their own dogs, from almost every herding breed and for several different venues of trialing.

Today, we offer private sheepdog training lessons and custom training at our farm in Deer Park, Washington.   The 20 acre facility is divided into pastures sized for different training levels, from small and controllable corrals to a pasture large enough for an Open-level outrun of 400 yards.  Noelle specializes in USBCHA trialling and can help a novice handler train their own dog for most herding venues.  She can help through all levels of training from puppy introductions to livestock herding to more advanced trialing levels.  She emphasizes the aspects of early training that are the foundation for more advanced training.   She utilizes techniques which develope the dog's natural abilities and avoid setbacks caused by confusion.

We also sell young dogs which are started in their training and ready for work/trialling.
