Jurate Macnoriute, book critic. Some Demerits in Tadeusz Teller's theory: The INGENEZA Hypothesis and the Canon of Beauty has nice intention to analyze objects of nature and to find causes of their beauty. According to Tadeusz Teller, he wrote his canon with the cooperation of scientists from a number of Universities. Notwithstanding writing this review I am putting reliance only on my own judgment. At least in my location any consultation takes away larger part of authorship, any consultant desires to be called a co-author. Let us go to analysis of ingeneza of Tadeusz Teller. What is ingeneza? Polish word geneza is equivalent to genesis that is origin, provenance. The word in is Latin preposition signing being inside. Consequently ingeneza must be something in origin. Tadeusz Teller may be compared with ancient thinker Demokritos, only if Demokritos thought that all things and even soul are made from undivided particles atoms, according to Tadeusz Teller, non-material ingeneza acts in atoms and outside atoms and it is in basis of cosmos, world, and human brain...

Jurate Macnoriute
The CANON of Art Regeneration in Twelve Levels. Theory and Practical Examples
(...) What is canon? In encyclopedias canon is determined as a system of rules, standard that dominates in art of some historical period or of some art trend. First of all canons of art are characteristic for ancient and for the Middle ages. Dominance proportions of ideal human body is typically for ancient canons. Greek sculptor Polykleitos gave a sense of proportions of human figure in treatise "Canon" that was practically embodied in his sculpture "Doryphoros". Canon of Polykleitos became norm for ancient art and with some changes for the Middle ages, Renaissance and for art of classicism. In the Middle ages iconographic canon settled compositional schemes and details especially in religion art. It survived till the 16th century. Relation among concepts art style, creative method, technique and canon. Creative method is a system of principles or rules managing creative process. Art technique is totality of methods and ability to apply these methods. Canon as it was mentioned above also is a system of rules, though canon is not any system of rules, but such that expresses ideal of some epoch, culture, nation, etc. Word "ideal" does not necessary mean some philosophy beauty product, but in some historical cases aesthetical ideal expressed even ugliness. Thus creative method can be canonized if it reflects ideal of epoch...

Portrait Artist Douglas Drenkow (USA). When you look at portraits of Douglas Drenkow, you feel that they radiate such fine mood that you begin to smile. What is reason? Sincerity? Readiness to please? Very unique and strange case is Douglas Drenkow's becoming an artist. He is self-taught, educated in the biological sciences at the University of California. He tells that making countless studies of microscopic and macroscopic forms in nature, he honed his skills for careful observation and accurate drawing. From his studies Douglas Drenkow got ability to work with the highest precision. Great his helper is computer...

Visual Narration of Russian Artist Ellen Gera. Guest of THE SECRETS OF PERFECTION Ellen Gera was born, grew up and reached artistry in Moscow. Painting studies at the Surikov Academy for Fine Arts gave her sure basis and freedom for creative work. Such basis becomes rarity in modern world sissy and slacked with mechanical means of photography and computer. Such basis can be only the object of envy of artists from countries in that art education have no traditions and state's support. If best world's chess-player Gary Kasparov tied hardly the score with computer, it seems in realm of painting real masters are not overmatched by machine yet...

Rebirth of Yogi Art in American Shankar's Pictures. In speedily growing industrial Western world where business occupied all sides of life, where art schools remained almost without support of state and other sponsors, human being feels itself alone and refuse and some downhill of spirituality is observable. For this reason artists themselves seek for way out from the situation, often appealing to ancient art schools and philosophy often oriental. We do not wonder seeing knots of strange clad Hare Krishna people running in streets of modern towns, singing, dancing and beating the drums. Orient calligraphy, Yoga, Hare Krishna lures some young minds sick and tired of machines, eternal rush and stresses. Like Western romantics or Indian sadhu they desire to escape, to hide themselves at rest in beautiful places, most often on mountains. Such is guest...

Romanticizm in Painting of Italian Painter Margherita Fascione. Guest of THE SECRETS OF PERFECTION Margherita Fascione engaged in painting from early childhood, however, in the heyday of her youth she chose studies of Philosophy with specialization in Aesthetics at Istituto Universitario Orientale of Naples. After the institute she felt an implacable hankering for painting. Of course living in so beautiful country like Italy, where so many good art surrounds citizenry, such hankering is easy explicable. From aesthetics to art also only a step. Thus the artist is a self-taught painter with aesthetic background. Seeing at her art works every will agree that Margherita Fascione gifted artist with Romantic attitude (Blake, Delacroix, Friedrich, Géricault, Goya, Philipp Otto Runge, Turner). At the outset her moving spirit was Renoir, Monet...

Portraits and Landscapes of Chen Jiqun. Historic resources testify that influence from West to East began in the fourth century B.C. together with the conquests of Alexander the Great, when elements of Classical culture to the near East and India were brought. It is considered that Western oil painting came into existence during the Ming and Qing dynasties when in China Jesuit painters developed their activity. In the 1920s many Chinese students went abroad to study oil painting. In that period most known artists were Li Shutong, Li Tiefu, Chen Baoyi, Xu Beihong, Lin Fengmian, Liu Haisu. In times of socialism Chinese painting more was influenced by Russian and Soviet art...

Nice Vision of Caroline Putnam (USA). Caroline Putnam started drawing at the age of two and in the early college years studied at Rhode Island school of Design. Carol currently resides in Los Angeles where she paints, teaches, and freelances as a web artist, faux finisher and mural artist. I look at her paintings and think. Yes, I would like to say a few sentences not about concrete person professional artist Caroline Putnam, but about general contemporary development of American art that we can see on the Web and a representative of that Caroline Putnam is...

Funny Curiosity

My follower Akhmed Zakayev

in London Chechen envoy Akhmed Zakayev recently was spotlighted and photographed in car. Composition of photography and pose of the figure are very similar to picture's which I painted for illustration of my canon of art regeneration. Acceptance of my ideas is not bad. It is bad that Akhmed Zakayev relates with terrorists. (J.M.)
