Juliet's Italian Market & Cafe is an Italian market, deli, and cafe, located in historic downtown Frederick, Maryland. Brimming with authentic Italian products and fresh, home-brewed foods, we have a lot to offer for those who love to cook, eat, and live the Italian lifestyle! Aside from our wide selection of Italian pastas and groceries, we have imported deli meats and cheeses, including our homemade mozzarella, which can be bought by the pound, or customized into your favourite sub or panini! We also serve San Benedetto and San Pellegrino sparkling beverages, Lavazza espresso, hot chocolate (made with our own blend of cocoa powders) and hot tea in various flavours; make sure to stop by for a sip! In addition, we sell an assortment of aged balsamic and genuine extra-virgin Italian olive oil, as well as rare, hand-painted ceramics and pottery from De Ruta, Italy.
Previously The Vignola Market, which was located in Rockville, Maryland, Juliet's Italian Market & Cafe has been under ownership of local cook and baker Juliet Kaufman as of May 2007, almost five years! Everything from the downtown Frederick location to our exclusive Italian products are maintained the same as what our customers have come to love over the years, not only from Vignola's, but also from Juliet's own experiences from her work in the food industry; we are constantly adding new products to the store and new choices to our menu, such as a variety of delicious and freshly-made paninis, baked goods, and salads, as well as additional selections of subs and pastas, to go along with the other great food already on the menu. In addition to our wide variety of ravioli and tortellini, Juliet also creates her own, homemade frozen dinners, such as lasagnas, parmigianas, and aranini rice balls, which you may pick up instore and are ready to pop into the oven as soon as you get home!
