Here is one of my youtube videos of me drawing Kirby - It's really fuzzy, shaky (blame my brother), and low-definition, but the best I can afford!

Newspaper Comic Characters

^ Garfield of Jim Davis' Garfield ^

^ Calvin of Bill Watterson's Calvin and Hobbes ^

^ Jason Fox of Bill Amend's Foxtrot ^

Characters from Other Countries

Personally, I live in the good old U.S.A., but I would like to start drawing maybe a few characters from cartoons originating in other countries.  If you would like to send a request for a character, I'd be glad to look into it.

Krtek, or Krteček, or Little Mole, or however you translate it, is a cartoon created by the Czech animator Zdeněk Miler.  The first episode, called "How the Mole Got his Pants," which i think is the most AWESOME name for an episode, ever, aired in 1957, and more episodes were made all the way up to 2002!  The request for me to draw this character was sent in by a person who signed the guestbook as "Friend from Poland."

Jeff Smith's Bone

Bone is a black and white comic book series that ran irregularly from 1991 to 2004 - It's about three "Bone creatures" from Boneville - The whole thing is very hard to explain, so I'll just leave it as "the bone cousins get lost and try to return home but get wound up in a whole amazing adventure filled with comedy, tragedy, and adventure" - Graphix, and imprint of the Scholastic company, is reprinting these issues in color (color by Steve Hammaker) in collections of nine books - These books are absolutely amazing!  The art is incredible and the storyline is just as good - It inspired me to attempt to draw some of the Bone characters - Bone and all related titles, characters, books, etc. are property of Jeff Smith
And by the way, my drawings are nowhere as awe-inspiring as his
!

^ This is Fone Bone - One of the three bones from Boneville - He is the hero of the story - He has a good heart, courage, and intelligence, and his favorite is book Moby Dick, which he is passionate about ^

^ Phoncible P. "Phoney" Bone is another cousin from Boneville - He is manipulative, greedy, selfish, and rich (he was rich until he got run out of Boneville, and that's why the characters got lost in the desert in the first place) - Phoney Bone always wears a shirt with a star on it - Though he is selfish and greedy, he's very defensive of his cousins ^

^ Smiley...has no brain ^

^ These pictures may look the same, but they're not (for proof, the one on the right has a notebook paper background, and check out the line thickness on Fone's feet in both pictures) ^

My favorite part about drawing Smiley is his head. Below are just a bunch of head drawings; I have focused just on Smiley's cool expressions.

Logos/Trademark Characters

Sometimes I find logos very appealing  - Some are quite detailed and worth drawing again - I only copy the logos, I have not created any of the logos shown in this paragraph or on this site
Note that I have NO affiliation whatsoever with any of these logos.  I did NOT design any of these logos, I do NOT own any of the logos, I did NOT come up with any of these logos in ANY way - These logos are the property of their company, group, etc., and I do not have ANY affiliation whatsoever with any members of these companies, groups, etc.

^ This is the logo of my favorite band, the Jonas Brothers ^

Once again, I very harshly reinstate that I have NO OWNERSHIP OR AFFILIATION WITH THIS LOGO OR ANY OTHER LOGOS ON THIS SITE!!!

^ I was bored in class and my friend was eating Cheetohs, so I decided to draw Chester straight off the bag ^

Nintendo Video Games

^ Yoshi, everyone's favorite dinosaur (of course you like him better than Barney, right?) from numerous Nintendo games ^

^ I copied these three pictures of Bowser, Yoshi, and Donkey Kong from official images for Mario Basketball ^

^ Scratch Art of Kirby in needle form - I copied this from an official image for some Kirby game - Then I watercolored Kirby after he swallows Mr. Game & Watch in a Super Smash Bros. Brawl match ^

Pokemon

^ Treecko, one of my favorite Pokemon ever ^

^ Rattata and Electabuzz - Two more of my favorite Pokemon ever ^

^ Buizel and Meowth - Yet two more of my favorite Pokemon ever ^

^ Crobat, one of my brother's favorite Pokemon ^

Rayman Video Games

^ Rayman has been around for a long time - His first game (for computers) sold over two million copies - His second game sold lots, too, and appeared on a couple of "Greatest Games of All Times" lists - These are his forms from Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc and Rayman Raving Rabbids ^

^ Copied from an official image - Too big to fit on the scanner so I took a picture of it with dad's camera - You can kind of see his zebra-striped bed comforter in the background ^

^ Copied from the cover of Rayman: Raving Rabbids - Whenever a friend comes into my house and me and my siblings are shooting bunnies with plungers, I think they feel weird ^

^ Rayman with the Heavy Metal Fist power found in Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc ^

^ Globox, Rayman's frog-like friend - They first met in Rayman 2: The Great Escape ^
