Drawings by Julie

Welcome

You are the

person to visit the home page of this site

This website started on January 27, 2007

I draw existing characters from cartoons - I have my own original characters and cartoons, but I am not putting any of them on this site because I don't want them stolen

My last update was on

July 12, 2009 - I've done a little drawing, but right now I'm on a vacation in Indiana and can't update for a while.  Anyway, all I did this time was change the "My Comic/Other People's Art" page title just to "My Camp Comic," and instead of posting art on my site, I'm going to post links to the websites that contain the pictures under a new section in the Links page.  If you have a cool, 100% G-rated deviantart or website with your art, email it to me and I might add it to the links page.  Thanks!

My Three Favorite Fanlistings (My other two favorites I can't find anymore)

Freehanded and Non-Freehanded

Some pictures I freehand, and some pictures I don't freehand.  Every picture that's freehanded I either copy from a picture or draw it completely from scratch by myself.  Every picture that's not freehanded is probably done on an overhead projector.  Doing a picture on an overhead projector is, in a nutshell, a very complicated form of tracing.  If I trace a picture, I use an overhead projector - I do the coloring all by myself.
If you want to know how I use the overhead projector process, go to the About the Site page, then down to the The Overhead Projection Process paragraph (which you'll have to scroll down to find)

Stop Cancellation!

Shows being cancelled include Kim Possible, American Dragon: Jake Long, and Danny Phantom.  One way to help try to save them is to sign petitions.

Here's the Fight For Five (The second effort to save Kim Possible!) petition

Here's the Danny Phantom petition.  This site is also very useful; it has tons of addresses and stuff - SAVE DANNY PHANTOM!

Go to Save Disney Shows to, uh, save Disney shows such as Kim Possible, American Dragon: Jake Long, Lilo and Stitch, and Phil of the Future.

My Drawing's Been in a Comic Book!

I sent in a letter and a picture to DC Comics' Cartoon Network Action Pack back in March 2008, and in the November 2008 issue (issue #29) of Cartoon Network Action Pack, my drawing and letter are printed in the back!  The drawing is of Codename: Kids Next Door's Kuki Sanban/Numbuh Three - You can see the letter and picture on the Kids Next Door page on this site - The letter and drawing are in the first paragraph of the Kids Next Door page.  I just thought that this was pretty cool.

Here it is in a close-up.  I edited the personal information so you cannot see my last name, age, or town - Mwahahaha!  It's for safety purposes.

Here's the whole page not-so-close-up.
