MY ENTHUSIASTIC WORDS FOR KEITH WORK
First I saw
Keith in series about adventures of space worship “Andromeda” and it’s crew.
So, I’m
watching this adventure, I’m already yawning from boredom, but suddenly…HE
appearances on the screen – perfect handsome cosmic ranger with Apollo’s look.
Thankful to his wonderful long dreads Keith had stupendous extraordinary look.
The cry of
astonishment broke from me, then it grown up in cry of admiration and rapture.
So I discovered for myself fine American actor Keith Hamilton Cobb.
He is great,
gifted, many-sided talented, inimitable actor. He has incredible amazing ability
to express the strongest emotions and feelings without words, he can show
incredible deep of emotions. His mimicry is just great.
His jet-black,
expressive, full of feeling glance has unusual magic power and captures at once,
with first appearance of every his character.
Generally I
like very much play, that’s without abrupt emotional splashes. And though his
characters are restrained, with self-control, they’re full so many strong
feelings and emotions, that’s may be seen thanks to his incredibly expressive
eyes and his splendid play. The quiet even speech, penetrating thoughtful gaze,
but thanks to his great talent it’s possible to feel emotional state of mind of
his characters. He plays always by his heart, his soul.
But
unfortunately he had to cut his dreads. But with dreads or without them, Keith
is Keith: the same talented, profoundly thoughtful, deeply philosophical,
purposeful person, perfect gentleman, stately, eloquent, gracious, generous and
utterly charming, witty.
And my opinion – Keith is worthy of all
awards for his brilliant play and for his immense actor’s talent.
From May 2003
to May 2005 Keith played role of guy of the present days – chemistry Damon
Porter in Soap “The Young and The Restless”. Keith is always so much genius,
talented and gorgeous. In his performance even the most insipid and featureless
character as Damon becomes a colorful personality.
After his leaving Y&R a year later Keith joined to crew of “Noah’s Arc” – series about Afro-American gays, where he played
Quincy – a charismatic political activist. He is just fantastic actor. He can convey more with an aborted smile and incredibly expressive glance more than all film script. Keith always looks mighty fine and astoundingly gorgeous. And though Quincy is absolutely different his character he’s the same intelligent, clever, handsome, hunky, witty. Everyone of his characters is self-confident, with self-respect and self restraint more or less. No matter what role he plays, especially when he’s trying to be seductive, he has a very intense look about his eyes. In my view the words for description a character of Quincy are charismatic and idiosyncratic. Quincy is a perfect exciting addition to the show and that’s thanks to Keith only.
Super talented and impressive played!
I was just pleasantly amazed how effective and brilliant he’s in a gay role. Though having his endless multi-faceted talent it’s not surprising.
Keith is very much an individual actor. He’s genius. He can play brilliantly any roles. His every performance is a powerful, an impressive, a strong, a full of deep emotions.
I’ve read his interview that he gave Keith Boykin, and I was amazed: to all his endless talents he builds furniture too! It looks very beautiful.
Incredibly, how many talents he has!
Where he will
be shooting now? Does he play in theatres? If yes, then where? I’d like to know
more about him. In some interview he said: “It's L.A. Every actor is pushing
another project of some sort”. He is actor with immense talent and very
inspirational on many levels. And I believe, all his next projects will be
worthy of his many-sided talent.
Speaking
truth, my novel “My
Lovely
Star”
was inspired by fine Keith’s play, by his immense actor’s talent. The main hero
of this novel is the embodiment of his characteristics.
That’s why I’m
thankful Keith because he gives me much happiness with his talented play. He, as
like the Good Angel, not knowing it himself, gave back me the gladness and the
sense of life, when I felt terrible despair and heart ache.
I’d like so much some time to say Keith THANK YOU VERY MUCH and say him about my great admiration and gratitude
IN PERSON.
